either get it on discount or wait for a few more updates because its still pretty buggy but it is playable now. you just cant differ from the story to fast or youll find yourself locked with no money to buy or fix parts. theres a few "obvious" things it needs still imo like the ability to make money when you have NONE. when you have a customers car youre working on sometimes when you quit and replay the game it duplicates the car with no way to remove it properly. sometimes you hit a very small bump going very slow and the car becomes airborne easier than a rubber ball. the idea behind the game is very much car mechanic sim but it actually has a little bit of story to it. if refined this could easily be an AMAZING game and i hope it ends up that way

The mechanic side is awesome and the driving has potential however the crash physics make racing almost impossible. One small bump, including from your opponents the car either flips or slides out of control.

race part not good, fix part good. they seem to be fixing some of the bugs so i guess its OK until a bug stops progression again. but overall gota change this to positive as the developer seems to be actively fixing the issues even if they cant get to them all at one time.

Love it so far just what i was looking for in a build and race game. My ultimate game would be able to modify cylinder size and pistons to see how much we could get out of a head block. that would be awesome. so far 8/10.

Overall this game has a really solid base. It's like a cross between Need for Speed and Car Mechanic Simulator. The game gives you a lot of freedom to build whatever you like, and the customisation/building is really quite solid. A few more cars and engine types will be nice, something I'm sure they'll probably add in future. On the negative side, the car handling physics are a bit off. They're not THAT bad, but cars suffer a tendency to spin whenever you turn at high speed which takes some getting used to. Again this is something they've recently updated and may improve on in future. It's better with a controller, however the controller is a little more clunky in the build phase. I find it best to play with both. The game needs a little more variation and detail in the jobs, the rinse and repeat of repair and tuning gets a little repetitive after a while but building your own cars makes the payoff fun. I'd definitely recommend picking up this game if you like CMS2021. I got it in the Steam Sale for £13 something and it's already a solid 7/10 for me in early access. Some of the above improvements would definitely bump that up.
