I found this game featured in a Japanese documentary series called "Art and Tech", seeing the creator talk about its development and the story that led to it really moved me and after playing it I can see that he was really passionate about it: beautiful art, good attention to detail on different areas with its secrets, interesting story and the space ships minigame? amazing as well, maybe a very few puzzles can get a little frustrating but even with that its still a great game, hope to see the dev's next work

I found this game while looking for psychological horror RPGs and I'm so glad I found it! If I were to describe it with one word it would be beautiful. The story is well written out and the later parts of it become so emotional it's hard not to cry. The characters are also very interesting (like a traffic light being a sidekick?) yet seem super normal. You may need to use the walkthrough at some times, but a good amount of the puzzle and routing is self-explanatory. Overall, great game!! would recommend if you like good stories and emotional ones.

Ukrainian version at the top English version at the bottom ---------------------------------------------- Передісторія Я знайшов цю гру просто вводячи в пошуковий запит в стімі різні слова, і коли я ввів Unreal, з самого низу була ця гра, хоч я і не натиснув відразу, а тільки коли в 2 раз її побачив.. від сторінки в магазині з'явилось дуже велике зацікавлення в ній і додав у список бажаного. Хоч я і не граю сильно в single player ігри, на весінній розпродажі Steam я все таки вирішив купити її. Враження основні Hidden Gem для мого власного маленького світу. До початкової проблеми персонажа приходиш тільки під кінець, хоч і на це є постійні намьоки . Гарна історії, може в деяких моментах і є чуть чуть кліше, але воно грає тільки на гарні та позитивні речі. Може мене просто сильно вразив момент зі Шкільним булінгом , хоч він і є найбільшим кліше для мене. Гра крута, рекомендувати можу всім, єдина проблема це самі люди, які не захочуть в неї грати. (я такою людиною являюсь до цих пір по відношенню до інших тайтлів і я знаю що це). Враження додаткові Мене гра здивувала, в деяких моментах я тупив як ніби в мене ракушка замість мозку, але все таки пройшов її і не жалію ні одної гривні на неї. І взагалі мені дуже сподобалось те що тут багато різних копцепцій та з першого погляду не дуже зрозумілих або сумісних івентів, але після проходження я зрозумів що воно все зв'язано і дуже гарно пояснено, респект автору за такий world building skill. 9/10, але якщо брати те що воно потрапила так спонтанно мені в руки і мені просто тяжко осудити її за щось толкове то 10/10 solid. ---------------------------------------------- Backstory I found this game just by typing random words into the Steam search bar. When I typed “Unreal,” this game showed up way down at the bottom. I didn’t click on it right away — only the second time I saw it. But once I opened the store page, it really caught my interest, so I added it to my wishlist. Even though I don’t usually play single-player games, during the Steam Spring Sale I decided to buy it anyway. Main Impressions A hidden Gem for my own little world. You only get to the main problem of the character near the end, though there are constant hints about it . It’s a great story — maybe a bit cliché in some moments, but it all plays in favor of the game’s emotional and positive sides. Maybe I was just personally struck by the school bullying moment, even though that theme is kind of the biggest cliché for me. The game is great, I can recommend it to anyone. The only real problem is people themselves — the ones who won’t even give it a chance. (And I’m still one of those people when it comes to other titles, so I get it.) Additional Thoughts The game genuinely surprised me. At some points, I was acting like I had a seashell instead of a brain, but I still finished it and don’t regret a single cent I spent on it. What I especially liked is how it mixes a lot of different concepts and events that at first seem unclear or incompatible — but by the end, everything connects perfectly and makes sense. Big respect to the developer for such impressive world-building skills. 9/10 — but considering how randomly it found its way to me, and how hard it is for me to criticize it in any fair way, I’ll give it a solid 10/10.

I don't think I would've believed you if you told me that in only few hours I'd become incredibly attached to a moss ball in a fish tank, a chain-smoking penguin, and a sentient AI traffic light. Somehow though, this game managed exactly that. This game is really something special. The story, characters, art direction, and music all culminate into this one of a kind experience that'll definitely stick with you for some time. It certainly has it's flaws in terms of the occasional obtuse puzzles and slow start, but generally speaking it's obvious to anyone that there's an incredible amount of passion here. It'd be easy to look at the price and game length and assume it's a bad value, but a short and sweet, well crafted story is sometimes well worth the extra cost. I'd 100% recommend it, especially on sale, though it also wouldn't be a waste at full price.

Loved the unfolding mystery of Unreal Life. Charming characters and art. The mechanic to view previous thoughts and conversations makes it easy to pick up where you left off, even if you haven't played in ages. Unreal Life expanded my gaming palette.
