I decided to try Voidigo after playing R.E.P.O and Cult of the Lamb. I don't have much experience with roguelike games—my exposure was limited to playing them as a kid—but after diving into Cult of the Lamb, I found myself exploring more titles in the genre. And wow, I’ve discovered that roguelikes are amazing! Voidigo, in particular, is a stunning and captivating game. The level design is gorgeous, complemented by vibrant and wonderfully designed characters. The weapons are an absolute blast to use, each offering a unique way to take down NPCs. While I can’t say much about the story yet, it’s intriguing so far. I wholeheartedly recommend this game, especially since it’s priced at just 5 euros!

It's Nuclear Throne or Enter The Gungeon if those games were very very silly. Everything about the game is so charming and funny and every single weapon is the weirdest thing you've ever seen. It's also only 5 bucks which is just absurd for how good this is and the amount of content the game has. This is why i love indie games.

Tried this because of how well made their 2nd game, R.E.P.O, is, and glad I did! Voidigo is well deserving of a recommendation and worth a playthrough. There's many things to like about this rouglite.. The levels/maps feel full of life and variety, vibrant visuals with smooth animations, challenging challenges to keep you coming back. I wont ignore the small flaw though, which doesn't take away from the game and was a nice attempt at something different, but as you go on will ultimately be spamming the space bar a lot. They're a small studio and I think with more time and money they could have made this game a GOAT on par with Isaac, as is I even believe it does certain things better (specifically level/map design), but it's still a solid game hence the recommendation of a playthrough. With the success of their 2nd game R.E.P.O I'm excited for what the studio brings next without restraints! It's very clear these guys just want to give their players (and themselves) a fun experience which you've got to love so thumbs up.

how the hecc is this game $5? this game is worth $10 on a SALE. GET. IT. Yes, I'm only here because R.E.P.O. blew up. And, no, I wasn't interested in Voidigo when Hutts picked it up, but BOY WAS I WRONG AND I'VE NEVER BEEN MORE EXCITED TO BE WRONG. This game is "twin stick shooter roguelike" done right. This is what I wanted Nuclear Throne to be. I have not had this much fun in this type of game since Atomicrops. The artwork is pristine, the controls top-notch, all of the sound design is amazing, the abundant humor hits just right, and the soundtrack is very satisfying. ...also, that VO they got just proves all we need in a game is some Bastion/Supergiant Games-style narration as a lil' treat. Everything you're expecting is there: runs that want to make you go in for just one more, plenty of things back at the base to spend your meta-money on, as well as a ton of different difficulty levels, weapons, skills, and add-ons. This dev knows all we want is to kill 20 things with a new gun for a reward, upgrade a skill to max the first time to get a gold star, dash through pots for muns, and get shiny pick-ups that remind us of Donkey Kong so we can travel to new biomes. Not to mention the fact that this game expands on the genre, adding in really neat mechanics and layers to their runs like how you can stumble across the boss of an area when just running around AND go back and collect all the neat stuff you want once you kill the boss before moving on to the next area. I'm having a blast. My fingers hurt from using my controller. I can't wait to play more.

Great game. No idea how this one went under my radar. Between this and R.E.P.O., I'm very excited to see what this dev does in the future.
