A very nice short classical point-and-click adventure game! I especially liked large fonts and large drawn characters :) Too bad that the quite original detective story of the first half of the game soon turns into just another clone of "Monkey Island". So that even many puzzles are made by copy-paste method, including Mortal Monkey Voodoo Kombat... Still, it could well be recommended to all adventure game lovers.

This is such a nice adventure game, although it's quite short and maybe a bit too easy. It has all the right components: great visuals, interesting story, a bit of humor, logical puzzles. There's no moon logic, I never needed to use a walk through. Some puzzles got me stuck but not for long.

A funny, beautiful and delightful point and click detective adventure. Despite being the studio's first game, Voodoo Detective shows none of the rough edges that you might expect - a smooth and engaging experience with clever puzzles intricately woven in to the lore and story telling, set against a backdrop of beautiful hand-drawn artwork and elevated by a funny script and clever writing. One of the most delightful and accomplished point and click detective games of the current generation. Strong recommend.

Voodoo Detective is a game about avoiding talking with tourists. Which, as an introvert, I can relate to very much. But really, Voodoo Detective is an excellent point-and-click adventure game with fun puzzles, excellent art, stellar voice acting, and an interesting setting. It is not a full adventure game, but then again, the price point does reflect that. As for the negatives, not all the puzzles make that much sense. I had to consult the guide for a couple of times, which is less than most adventure games, but still noticeable. Maybe part of the genre. Overall, I enjoyed my time with Voodoo Detective and would recommend it to any fan of the adventure game genre. It is not perfect, but it is almost there. 5/5
