Voodoo Garden is a cute, macabre themed clicker / idler about raising a riverside crop tended by enchanted animal spirits. The vector art is nice and the music is great. Has some control issues, as it is very easy to accidentally pick up a ghost or a charm while clicking around. Most crops can be set to be auto-harvested, but the animal parts need to be harvested by the player. Fortunately, much of the recipes can be completed without animal parts. It's a decent game. Plantera 2 feels a lot more like a complete idea to me, so it's good that it's offered as a Steam bundle with this game. I'm not a big fan of the central theme, so I'm not about to start another run. I definitely hope there's a Voodoo Garden 2, as Plantera 2 was a major improvement over Plantera 1, and this game does have some nice spots that could shine with further polish.

Very fun and cute thematic idle clicker game. Some of the achievements seemed a bit unbalanced, like the crocodiles and skulls being by far the last achievements I earned by 10's of hours... Also I had to google how to get ghosts because if the game even did explain it I missed it (or forgot) and that information is not repeated. But other than that it's quite an original and fun time. Absolutely worth full price, but still regularly goes on 70% sale, which is less than a dollar!

I got this game back in 2017. I played it a few times afterwards, but always ended up losing interest. I finally decided to go back to the game and finish it. While you can make progress while idle, if you are going for 100% you have to be pretty active. There's no automation for the animals and you have to keep clicking them when they come on screen. It's grindy but not difficult. Overall I enjoyed this game and going for all the achievements.

This is another game I spent way more time that I probably should have playing. I really wanted to get all of the achievements, though. The game is chill and easy to play with maybe some thinking involved but not too much. The voodoo theme is nice and something different.

Very cute little idol game it was a bit of a hassle to go for the voodoo doll achievement but I kind of fell in love with the art style of the game. It's so cute.
