Really enjoy this one. Big battles of beautifully animated guys, fun deck building elements as well. The campaign is very challenging, starting you off with scenarios that involve pre-built decks and opening up to let you use your own after getting you familiar with the factions. That being said, I do have a few gripes. The tutorials are not the greatest at explaining everything, and seem to give incorrect information in some cases. Some missions are a little too gimmicky and last just a little too long. Other missions feel aggressively punishing. Which would be fine if there were later in the campaign, but it feels odd that some of the intro missions for the factions are so aggressively difficult when you are still so early in the game. Even with it's flaws, I still enjoy the game a lot and plan on continuing to play it for a while longer.

I didn't enjoy this game. With that said I don't think its bad. In this age of mobile deckbuilders and autobattlers its right up with that right appeal. The sight of massive armies of the thousands charging you is neat, but I felt like I wasn't doing anything. Hell, the last match was over 30 minutes long. I just don't feel like this game is a good use of my time, but its got the pvp, and the deckbuilding, and cards that the kids are all the rage for. It just doesn't feel like its made for me though. IMO, its a game that looks more neat to watch than to play. Watch a streamer play it. 6/10 Not bad and can see others enjoying it, but I don't want to. Not anymore at least.

The game is what it sells. A mix of card game, tower defense, and economy builder. The inital deck building is pretty limited, because some card combos have negative syngeries - making them nearly unplayable together. The "second half of deck building" happens while you play the match. The "deck colors" (or races) also each have special rules, tending to favor a certain play styles. Like aggressive tempo, economy or all-in one turn combos. The main critique point of the game, and also of many reviews here, is that the game gets complicated fast while putting you under time pressure. You constantly need to track your ressources, what cards you have still in deck and also what tech trees these cards have (and in multiplayer also what you opponent is doing). Mindlessly playing the wrong cards will build your deck with stuff you dont need, in turn making it harder to draw you win condition plan. So often playing the wrong cards will actively be detrimental to you. But thats the main challange of the game: Have a plan to win and build you deck to execute that plan. tldr: Game is fun and hard. It's less like deck building, more like deck planning and executing. The negative reviewers need to git gud. They all cry about a missing tutorial to explain what I just told you.

Fun version of Deck building / Tower Defense type of game. Sadly the game player base took a nose dive, 24 peak of 63 players.. tried multiple times to play an online match and it timed out with error "not enough players". Which is a shame, they are actually starting to put balance changes that were badly needed but looks like game might be DOA, or maybe a steam sale could revive it in a few months.
