Part 2 picks up right where the first one left off, and it’s just as intense, stylish, and fun. I played this one right after finishing Part 1, and it felt like a natural continuation — tighter level design, more dramatic cutscenes, and even better use of the comic-inspired aesthetics. The addition of Silk Spectre II and the shift in tone give this part a slightly different flavor, but it still keeps that same beat 'em up charm. The combat, again, isn’t groundbreaking — but it doesn’t need to be. It works, it’s responsive, and it fits the tone perfectly. For me, this wasn’t just a game — it was a piece of childhood rediscovered. Back then, these games were the reason I even got into Watchmen in the first place. They sparked my curiosity and eventually led me to the comics. 5 hours of co-op fun with a ton of nostalgia and cool comic-book flair. Can’t ask for much more than that. 🎮 If you like Watchmen, retro-style co-op brawlers, or just want a quick and gritty ride — this one’s absolutely worth your time.

Man... I believe, i have played watchmen many years ago. I do not remember it vividly. However, nothing will make me forget his mask. Early 2000s, pretty much all used laptops or PCs used to come with pre-installed games. These games varied, but mostly were the same, including; chess, domino, card games, ones about insects, feeding fish and so on. If my memory does not fail me, i was young at that time, this games was one of the hidden gems there. Never finished it or understood how it was played and game up on it. a few years ago, by a mere accident, i came across it on steam. When i saw the mask, all the memories flashed my mind and thought, damn... is this really that game? Opened the page and yes, it was that game! I was hesitant from the beginning, since the game is so old, i thought my laptop would not be able to run it on windows 10, but with the help of steam, everything worked. Now about the game. Graphically it does not stand out, since it came out nearly 17 years ago, but still is one of the greatest. It does not look pixelated, hence it is playable. People do complain a lot about the game being monotonous and dull, which is true. However, as the story progressed, i was more and more invested into it. After killing the hordes of enemies, Night owl and Rorschach would talk for a little bit. It was my incentive to keep going. They discussed many social issues briefly. Talked about how corrupt and disjointed the whole world has become. Despite the enemies looking exactly the same and obese ones taking a sh*t ton of hits to kill, those dialogues were worth it. Whole game is simple, along with gameplay. you smash the M1 on your mouse and thats about it. Objectives are to open gates or doors. I personally did not have any issues nor did i experience the "extreme dullness". People also complain about the music, which is also true to be boring, but the game is hardly 2-3 hours long, you barely notice it. Humor is on point, they joke about many things openly. Nowadays, we cant even think about such things, let alone talk about them in a video-game or joke. I really enjoyed the openness of it. One huge issue, FPS. I do not know why, but despite having 3050ti, i was getting 30 frames per second or even less. Still got through it tho. Overall, If you have played the game in your childhood, have nostalgia, or you simply love watchmen in general, i highly recommend it. Despite having many people complaining about it and how dull the game can feel, give it a try. it is cheap and short. you will not regret it. ( * SPOILERS * ) Story ( * SPOILERS * ) The story mainly revolves around two main characters Rorschach and The Night Owl. They are trying to save a girl, who was kidnapped by a group of people, who push prostitution in the city. This information is given to Rorschach by a disk. He then goes to show it to the Night Owl, he recognizes one big sign in the video and says "i know this place". After that, they both embark on a journey to find the girl. They reach the place, which was in the video, where the girl was kept hostage, though she was not there. We did a little investigation and got to know where she actually was. After going outside the building and observing the city, it was pretty horrible. We soon got to the main building, the "wh*re house". One of the characters there, a female, was a PIP? i guess? She recruits those Wh*res. After searching her places, we finally stumbled upon the girl we were looking for. She is underage, specifically 17. She was being sexually assaulted and and exploited, but she did not know that, since she was getting paid and said "im earn more money than my dad in his dead-end job". When we tried to get her out of the room and the place in general, the PIP came. The girl went straight in PIP's arms and said "dont let them take me away" so she did not. We chased after the PIP (The Twilight Lady). Whilst in chase, Night Owl was saying things like "i think, we should leave and let them be" While on the other hand, Rorschach was saying that the girl is actually brainwashed into thinking that she is doing a good thing and we should bring her back. Eventually, we catch up to her, the Twilight Lady (pip) and beat her up. Although, once push came to shove, Night Owl said to Rorschach not to kill her (He was in a relationship with Twilight Lady, i believe. She was an ex). I had to fight him to then kill her, which i did. Hence, there are two different endings. One, the pip dies. Second, She does not. I still have no idea where the girl went tho. ( * SPOILERS * )

Uh boy, this game has been on my wishlist for years and now it's finally is on sale. Don't get me wrong, it is worth the full 5 bucks, but I already own the game on Xbox 360. Surprisingly enough it runs without problems, BUT I can't really make it work with either the Xbox 360 controller or the Xbox One controller, that also kinda makes it unplayable on the Steam Deck. The local coop also is no option that way. Anyway, the game is still solid in single player. It's kind of like a janky and really unpolished Batman Arkham game, where you either play as lame Batman (Nite Owl) or the character we only really care about and want to play, Rorschach. And it's fun to beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of criminals and gimps. Time to finish: ~2 hours with each character
