WARNING!! WARNING!! BE PREPARED TO MAKE FREQUENT TRIPS TO THE TOILET, because, if you're like me, heavily into slapstick comedy (particularly to do with these 2 very well known boys!), you'll spend most of your time crying or peeing in your pants from laughter, than actually playing, LOL... The people that designed this game did an absolutely superb job at portraying Bud and Terence correctly and keeping the memory of them alive in this game - R.I.P. Bud Spencer! :( - ....the fight moves (such as Terence's rapid swinging fist attack; my mom calls Terence the 'Windmill' whenever he does that move in his films, because of the circular way he swings his fists around, making it look like his opponents are literally being smacked to death by a living windmill xD There's even a HILARIOUS move where, if you position an enemy between you and the other character - for isntance, let's say you're playing as Terence, and the other character is Bud, controlled by AI; it works vise versa, though, if you're Bud, and the AI is Terence - you can punch the enemy towards Bud, and he will punch him back to you, you can then punch them back to Bud, back and forth, back and forth, LOL, until the enemy dies), the clothing outfits, the goofy music and punch sound effects, the same exact dialogue, which are ALL exactly the same in the movies Bud and Terence have starred in. What a gem!!! Having watched just about all the old comedy movies these 2 boys have starred in, it's absolutely DELIGHTFUL seeing all the details, even the smallest ones, so accurately portrayed in this game, you can tell there's a lot of love and effort put into this game! Something cool about playing multiplayer when with someone at home, you don't actually have to play on the same keyboard! One player can attach and play with a controller, and the other can play on the keyboard. P.S. There is a bit of swearing in the dialogue, which I'm personally not a fan of, but it doesn't happen as much, only every now and then.
I never knew there was a Double Dragon-style game starring Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill. Now I know there's two whole games and I can beat up a never-ending supply of random goons with cartoon audio special effects like the law demands in any story starring a fat bearded guy and a slim blond guy whose characters don't even have names.
Could not stop laughing at this amazing game. Its a slapstick spaghetti western side scrolling beatem up. If you ever seen the cowboy scenes from a movie about a guy slapping a guy really fast before he draws his gun this is that game. Actor who played in that movie is called Terence Hill known as Mr. Nobody the unknown cowboy. This is a must buy for its rumor and beatem up 2 player online co-op mode It also plays local co-op as well. 10 out of 10 would laugh again at the humor in the game and a must buy for fun times.
The main strength of the game is nostalgia and callbacks to all the classic movies, plus some of the original tracks by Oliver Onions. The gameplay itself is ... passable. Most enemies are spongy, and the combat doesn't feel very tight. The bossfights are long and drawn-out ... not difficult, just repetitive and go on for far too long.
