Supercar Collection Simulator is one of the better simulator games I've played recently. There is always something to do. Besides growing your store, you also have to manage stock, hire staff and keep everything running smoothly. The progression feels rewarding and always gives you a new goal to work towards. What I especially enjoyed is that it's not just about making money. You can also search for specific cars to add to your own collection, which gives you another reason to keep playing besides simply expanding the business. The racing tracks are also a fun addition. Watching your cars race around those Hot Wheels-style tracks adds something different to the gameplay and helps keep things interesting. Another thing worth mentioning is that the presentation is actually very good. Unlike many simulator games, the menus, interface and overall layout feel polished and well designed, making the game easy and enjoyable to play. Overall, Supercar Collection Simulator offers a lot more than I expected and manages to keep things fun by giving you multiple ways to progress at the same time.
The game is fun at least for me so far... the city setting could be built better and more alluring but it works for now.. hopefully the update the look... the cars and collections are very fun and nifty to collect. Buy the game when its on sale if u are still undecided. 8/10 Could be a Kojima game.
This is long so the TL;DR version is "I like this game because it makes my autism happy, but the gameplay loop can be boring for people who want more substance. It's early access so cater your expectations accordingly." I've played this game much longer than my Steam playtime would have you believe (played through other avenues besides Steam before buying) and as a lover of TCG Shop Simulator, it's a joy to play this. However. It's definitely in Early Access, and given Kiki Games's track record, is likely to remain in Early Access for an indefinite period of time. I haven't encountered any bugs throughout the (by my estimation) ~50 hours I've played, but on the other side of that coin there's not a ton of opportunities for bugs to pop up. I don't do the driving mechanic, I don't play multiplayer, and I rarely race the AI customers. I spend my time opening packs with an AHK script. Making money can be difficult at the beginning, especially since products (other than car packs) are unlocked automatically as you level up. And customers get upset if you don't carry every product available at whatever level you may be, no matter if you didn't realize you'd leveled up or whatnot. They don't care. They just want their products. The rating system can be harsh in that respect. Often my store hovers between 3.2 and 3.9 stars. I'm not sure how to increase the rating, as I have shelves of unlocked product and hundreds of cars for sale. Customers are picky, I suppose. There aren't a lot of products available, if I'm honest. Not nearly as many as TCG Sim. They recently added a new line of cars ("Cyber" collection) but there's only 5 different tracks to sell, 2 types of booster cards, 5 or 6 launchers (that aren't used by the player, sadly), and maybe a half dozen of miscellaneous products. In that same vein, there's not a lot of store customization, either. There's only about 5 posters you can put up (not including the ones from the "Discord Exclusive" shop, which is not actually exclusive to Discord members but I believe were designed by the Discord members), and about a dozen wallpapers and floor covers. Though as someone who doesn't really care to decorate much of anything, this isn't a problem for me. So what do I like about this game, if it's so "lackluster"? I love the gameplay loop of "buy product, put product on shelf, open store, get money, buy car boxes, open car boxes, be a little autistic gremlin about my car collection." I love to collect. I love the simplicity of get product -> place product -> sell product. I love to listen to lo-fi or old radio shows while I watch over my shop like some kind of Car Goblin Overlord. I love the Car House mechanic where every in-game day you have like 90 seconds to go buy as many cars as you can get your grubby little paws on across the street. I love the Car Vending Machine. I love packing cars into the Bulk Boxes to sell. I love putting out the cars individually and seeing them all lined up on shelves. To end, this game is fun. Is it complete? No. Is there a lot of customization? No. Is there a lot of diversity in products? Oh lord no. But do I like it anyway? Yes. Yes I do. So buy this game on sale and have a relaxing time with it. Don't think too hard and keep your expectations in line with an Early Access title. Maybe this will be one of the few Kiki Games games that actually gets more content.
I am a huge hot wheels collector and this game really scratches that itch. Most of the models are recognizable, and the cards they are on look nice. Money seems a bit more of a grind than other sims, but perhaps that was user error. The interior decoration is also a bit on the simple side, by looks and behavior. BUT, the ability to design your own car/card with paint and stickers is a really awesome feature. Also the hunt house. Really cool features that I wish other sim games could find a way to incorporate. Well now we also have an update 4/26, thank you to the dev for the continued work! Can't wait to see what the future brings.
