Do I like the game? Yes... But there are some huge glaring issues that make me almost want to leave a negative review. SOUND CUES in this game ARE absolutely HORRENDOUS, as the game is already really quiet to begin with. I have to crank my headphones to max volume to hear the assassin, tanner, and tucker. Only to get ear blasted because of the hacking sound which is still extremely loud. Audio just needs a whole rebalance in this game especially since the gameplay revolves around it. A player shouldn't be second guessing themselves on ambient noises to know if it's the killer coming, it should be clear and decisive if you're paying attention to them. This alone makes me want to say not to buy it until it gets fixed or reworked, but the web browsing and computer stuff is fun so I'll deal with it.

I haven't finished it yet, but so far the game looks good and runs well. Challenging and enough of a step forward to justify the purchase of the third edition. Classic welcome to the game experience, immersive and scary. Very cool, currently a few bugs but dev addressed a day1 patch so we'll see -x

Great game so far. The atmosphere and puzzles create a real sense of paranoia, but there's a thing that's really hurting the experience: the hack sound effect. To hear gameplay audio like footsteps and the sound cues, the SFX volume has to be turned up. but, the hack sound effect is tied to that same volume and is far louder than everything else. It isn't a jumpscare, it's just unpleasantly loud and genuinely hurts the ears when wearing headphones.

enjoying it so far, but i keep getting soft-locked. First, my copy and paste stopped working, so i had to restart, which, since it was the first hour, i had to rewatch the entire intro again (maybe let us skip this?) and while writing this, i turned the breaker box back on, but the power remained off, and i am now soft-locked with no power at all. which means i have to reset again. Game just released so I don't entirely mind some bugs, but game breaking and run ending is kind of frustrating. EDIT: i was not soft-locked due to the power, i did not realize there was another power box EDIT 2: i believe i found the reason the copy/paste breaks. it seems to happen if i start highlighting text while ronald is still sending messages. This broke it a few times, and hope it gets patched :)

So far, the game is very good. I really only have 2 things of note until I get more thoughts with more experience. First, make a way to skip the opening sequence in the apartment so you can go straight to your desk. If I have a bad start and want to restart, I shouldn't have to wait that long just to start doing things again. Second, sometimes when you back out from your computer, you can't click the panic button. This is usually easy to avoid by mousing away from it and then trying to push it again, but I can see it getting people killed.
