A lot of fun... BUT.,.... The next step for this franchise now is obviously a free for all competition where players can pvp. Every player gets the same seed, totally identical spawns, identical wiki, identical key locations and so on.

enjoying it so far, but i keep getting soft-locked. First, my copy and paste stopped working, so i had to restart, which, since it was the first hour, i had to rewatch the entire intro again (maybe let us skip this?) and while writing this, i turned the breaker box back on, but the power remained off, and i am now soft-locked with no power at all. which means i have to reset again. Game just released so I don't entirely mind some bugs, but game breaking and run ending is kind of frustrating. FINAL EDIT: Now tells you that you can skip cutscenes, and most softlocks have been fixed. Crashes have been fixed mostly as well. (Yes i am now aware of the 2 other power boxes out front). My only gripe is that you can be attacked while being hacked, which was not possible in the previous game.

Do I like the game? Yes... But there are some huge glaring issues that make me almost want to leave a negative review. SOUND CUES in this game ARE absolutely HORRENDOUS, as the game is already really quiet to begin with. I have to crank my headphones to max volume to hear the assassin, tanner, and tucker. Only to get ear blasted because of the hacking sound which is still extremely loud. Audio just needs a whole rebalance in this game especially since the gameplay revolves around it. A player shouldn't be second guessing themselves on ambient noises to know if it's the killer coming, it should be clear and decisive if you're paying attention to them. This alone makes me want to say not to buy it until it gets fixed or reworked, but the web browsing and computer stuff is fun so I'll deal with it.

Great game so far. The atmosphere and puzzles create a real sense of paranoia, but there's a thing that's really hurting the experience: the hack sound effect. To hear gameplay audio like footsteps and the sound cues, the SFX volume has to be turned up. but, the hack sound effect is tied to that same volume and is far louder than everything else. It isn't a jumpscare, it's just unpleasantly loud and genuinely hurts the ears when wearing headphones.
