It's a chill, very short horror game where you just do your job, experience weird things, and get paid. I personally love this kind of concept, that means it got my favoritism. Still, there is always room for improvement. While there are many defects and anomalies you need to inspect on the dolls, they do not balance it well; for my play, as an example, only 1-2 times of confronting a sharp-teeth doll, 6-finger doll, and dent clothes (no more than twice, which is a shame). The story is also too linear. If you are not stupid, you can figure out very quickly how you will end up and must do something to avoid that. The game claimed/promised that: (1) there will be no monster chasing, and (2) nothing will scream or jump into your face. This claim is what intrigued me a lot, as I wonder how a horror game can survive without these 2 important elements; this game kept the promise pretty well, though, without ruining the terrifying atmosphere.
Work in a factory, inspect dolls for issues like torn clothes, bad language, or maybe ...possessed by the devil and either send them off to the loving public to be sold or down to the incinerator to get a warm hug. What could possibly go wrong? Fun game with 2 endings and a good creep factor.
I enjoyed the game but I really hate multiple endings for games (just a personal opinion) There isn't a whole lot of variety gameplay wise. you just go around checking and repairing dolls which can be really relaxing but the horror aspect was really missing here in my opinion. The ending I got (A Ending) was very mediocre and didn't incentivize me to go and replay for ending B. I also feel the game ended pretty abruptly.. I will still recommend the game because I like the creativity behind the gameplay loop, and the game constantly adding new ways to inspect and check on dolls.
Short and sweet spoopy experience that follows the daily shifts of a doll factory worker. I had a lot of fun spotting the 'manufacturing' errors and buying little doodads to decorate my workspace. The story was pretty interesting, and it has two endings with a bunch of achievements which adds some replayability. I didn't hit any snags when I played, my only criticism is that I am unable to run. I'm not a fan of not being able to run in my games because I see it as artificial game playtime padding. I have 8.5 hours logged but it's closer to about 4 because I accidentally left the game running when I went out to run errands. That being said, 4 hours is pretty generous for a game you could probably 100% in less than 2. Is it worth the price? I picked it up on sale($3) and I felt like that was a fair price. Heck, even at full price I feel like I got $5 of fun out of this title. Thumbs up! :)
