Very fun to play. It even has a detective mode for scaredy-cats like me! So if you're unsure to get this because it might be scary... Do not fear! The detective mode is about solving cases only. The game has like over 200 different cases. (Wrote my own notes and currently have 118.) So you basically find something new every playthrough. Also not even 10€ for that amount of content? Hecking amazing.

this is not an exaggeration when I say this is the scariest and most difficult game I've ever played. Tanner when I catch you mate you're gonna catch these fists cuz I have had ENOUGH of you jumping through locked windows before I've even sat at my desk great game though would recommend i ♥♥♥♥ my pants

A great detective game with total number of 200 written and unique cases to be solved. However, your experience can vary much depending on what mode you gonna play. The first one is casual mode which is good and actually not so casual. It makes you feel the game the way it should 'cause it's well balanced. It nicely combines detective aspect and home invasion elements — you solve the cases during your run but still try to survive. It also had kinda fun ending, now it's replaced. The next mode I would love to talk about is detective mode which disables the killers so you could totally dive into detective stuff without any threats. It makes the game so relaxing, and the great addition to it is the paused menu music — lovely ambient. This mode is actually hard, it's gonna take a lot of runs before you finally beat it but the process feels great unlike following modes. Normal mode turns the game into paranoia where you fully focus on threats, making non-stop defensive actions, minimizing solving of cases which causes the lack of enjoyment. It requires from you to create a complete list of all the cases solved in advance to use it each run without thinking 'cause you just have to know all the answers otherwise you have no chance to beat it. And yeah, there're no saves whilst every run takes 3–3,5 hours. Speaking of nightmare mode, I don't know why it even exists. It's absolutely unbeatable 'cause each run is 4–5 hour long, bugged, hella RNG based, without right to make a slightest mistake. I've beaten it only by backing up game save files, that is ridiculous how unbalanced and unfair the mode is. If you really want to enjoy the game, you should play only casual and detective modes, they're great but the others... well, good luck.
