Simple fun but becomes difficult around day 10 onwards. You look after several weapons and complete few different objectives a day. From cooking to cleaning weapons to fighting off waves of enemys be there infantry, armour or planes. All in all cheap fun only down side is no coop. This game would be amazing with some friends instead of dull NPCs.

very silly and cozy game to play on a thursday afternoon after you come back from your 9-5 so you can cook for your little coughing soldiers after a calm battle with the nazis that came with some potatoes and chocolate on em so you can feed yourself after . 10/10 . will continue playing

This is a nice, somewhat limited but atmospheric game. I read a lot about how people hate the graphics and the combat, but i assume this has improved a lot because i find it okay. Not great, but okay. The good: Atmospheric, i really enjoy the bunker management of things You get Ally NPC that you can command so you dont feel 'alone' The enemy sneaks, can shoot very well, and the shooting is okay. The airplanes are fair. The tanks instill fear. The cooking mechanic is well fleshed out I love it how guns break down or need cleaning in the middle of combat, always carry 2. This game rewards being prepared, and punishes harshly those that are not Death is forgiving, you just go back to the morning Casual The bad: Somewhat limited. I wish there was more crafting, randomized bunkers, ability to expand the bunker, OPTIONS to tweak the game play like how long a day lasts, how long food/thirst builds, hell breaking loose outside like ally tanks vs german tanks fighting it out, etc... This game has so much potential, but right now its mostly that. I do advise to buy this game if you in the mood for some atmospheric WW2 vibes, but buy it at a discount. I dont believe it is worth retail price

Heads up there is a lot to be said here, so if you don't want to read an lot Game good but need polish, still good as is in my opinion Play demo to try out game first and I think you get a discount after beating it if am not mistaken. Some issues like allies blocking doorways or not getting enough ammo when requesting it in supplies DLC are worth it and origins mode is better than base game, but beat base game first. Overall great game and well worth the money I spent, minus the last note. In standard mode you are bunker mom and must feed your fellow soldiers in base game, have fun. After playing the demo I became a bit hooked on this game. Also after betting the demo you get an offer to purchase the game and all dlc for 25% off which is great to see the player being rewarded for playing the demo. There is still a good amount of work to be done on the game before it is a polished game but what's here is still very fun. If you are playing the standard mode where you are an American soldier you start off buy killing everyone in the bunker, rip dude dancing to music. Once the bunker is yours it's your job to hold it by any means necessary and survive. This means you will have to cook food, drink water, and repair any damaged doors and or emplacements, like the pack gun or an magic 42 emplacement (yes it's called that lol). You eventually will end up with 3 other soldiers who you can order to do simple tasks, such as man an emplacement or follow you. After surviving x amount of days, you win the game and unlock endless mode where you continue from your recently won save. After playing a bit I am seeing issues with the endless mode already. There are WAY too many enemy soldiers to deal with on the first day on endless alone, disregarding any tanks or aircraft that may join the attack. It will overwhelm you and your soldiers on any positions. I tried 5 different time and the outcome was the same. My soldiers die one by one and I end up dead trying to make a last stand in the bunker. There are a few ways I can see this being fixed. Make it to where when your order is to kill 20+ enemy soldiers, that ONLY 20 of them spawn. It can spawn anywhere from 30 or up on such an order. Give us more squad members for US game mode. Having at least two more guys would make a major difference. Maybe even give them different guns, like Thompson SMG's or M1 grands to give some variation, as they all have m1 carbines. They are still good at killing stuff, but it be nice to see variation. Make it to where we can order soldiers to do other tasks like cook or cut wood. I hate being the mother and making sure grown men are fed and have water when I have my own @ss to worry about. Not to mention having to do all the chores on top of repairs and such is a tad tedious. Maybe also simplifying orders like the origins mode would be better. Allow the player to walk through allies. It sucks when they are standing in a door way and i cant get through, or they are walking into each other and blocking a door way. Having the ability to walk through them would be amazing. Also give us more ammo in the air drops. When I request 30-06 ammo i seriously only get 7 rounds? Should be a box of 30 rounds minimum when requested. in origins I have more ammo than I know what to do with and that's just from enemy soldiers dropping a lot. The german soldiers in standard mode don't seem to drop much, if anything, 3 bullets and sometimes canned food or meds. Now origins is much more fun than the base game mode already. At the start you run into more enemies and more loot. It is more dangerous but way more rewarding. Enemies drop lots of ammo, as stated before, so don't worry about running out anytime soon. You can have up to 10 soldiers with 3 simple commands, follow, defend bunker, and at east. First one is simple enough, 2nd order soldiers will run to man emplacements and then some stay in the bunker to protect from enemies rushing in, already better than the micro management of the 3 men from standard. You don't have to FEED them. They do not need to eat or drink so all food is for you and you are not a mother. In turn these guys seem more squishy than the 3 american soldiers but i like it way better as I don't have to manage them so much and they are essentially fodder that can be replaced when a mission comes up to heal wounded soldiers. It spawns more than you need to heal so take advantage of that when you can. In short, base game is fun but tedious with management of allies, lack of US ammo, especially when called in, so you will mostlikely be using german weapons more often as it is more affordable ammo wise. In origins I am getting plenty of ammo for both US and german guns. In origins you don't have to cook and be a bunker mom but in turn have weaker troops. However, more numbers means more guns so less work in the long run. And endless mode is not impossible but very, very hard with the amount of enemies shoved down your throat. Hoping that ammo request from supply drops be buffed, especially when requesting ammo for US guns as I would love to us the M1 Grand more but seeing as I only get 7-13 bullets a supply drop, it is more worth while and less hassle to use the german firearms as ammo is plentiful off dead enemies (who may or may not drop it, for some reason my experience is in origins mode they drop a LOT of ammo for all gusn). Overall a very fun game and would recommend giving it a shot. Well worth the 12 bucks I spent.

Great gameplay and good variety of "chores" on every day. Only thing annoying me is that this game keeps crashing and i lose all my progress of the in game day. My suggestion is Auto-Saving after every task.
