TLDR: Imagine Pokemon but with seggs and a lot of QoL improvements and yeah thats it. Quite a hefty content if you wan to 100% it and DLCs are present to increase the playtime if you like. Yarimono is a monster battler/collector with Hentai. The game takes us back to Gen 1~3 vibes and the biggest difference is we can bang the trainers once we defeat them. the H-scenes themselves are really hot but on the "yucky" side with liquids being set to 15 and just liquids everywhere, I'm not into that but not really a bother to me. Might be regarded as "disgusting" to some so a heads up is necessary. Story is on par with other Pokemon games with some side quests that takes it to the extreme (cult stuff). Yarimon levels are capped by you trainer level requiring you to fight trainers around your level first before fighting other trainers. AKA You can't grind for levels since you need to fight trainers to raise your level. Every battle you earn EXP shards which can be used as exp for mons you want to level up. This is really good rather than fighting a patch of grass 100X. A lot of QoL improvements to those who min-max (like me) will have a breather here each yarimon species fave the exact same stats at the same level. Lets say a level 100 Pikachu evolved to Raichu will have the exact same stats as a Level 100 Raichu evolved at level ten. You can switch out Yarimons on the spot. No shiny mons. Cheat tackle is also a good fallback plan. Other than trainer levels you Yarimons will also have "Star rank" just use them regularly and that will also go up, Bond star also exist to increase this. Also weaker Evolutions will still be useful due to "Soul boost", that can raise stats of "cuter" mons to their evolved forms. Evolved forms can also use them. Gameplay: 10/10 - Captured the early Pokemon vibes and is actually really challenging and fun at the same time. Grind: 9/10 - A lot of QoL improvements you can switch out Yarimons on the spot, The only problem I deemed of some attention are trainer levels, but other than that its good. Also cheat tackle 10/10 a great fallback move. H-scene: 8/10 - They are good and plenty with some repeating characters to be invested in. again a bit on the "eek" side but I'm jaded to that stuff already. Probably the only problem is most scenes will only have 1 position, but it is animated so it gets a plus. Kink: 10/10 - I think they got everyone of them??? Story 10/10 - It's on par with other pokemon games the only difference is you can skip with "Left Control" so you can skip characters you don't like or want to skip all the dialogues. Length: 6-9 hours - Just for the Main story and most H-scenes without getting 100% Yarimon. Can be faster if you skip dialogues and spam cheat tackle. 15-20 hours - easily if you plan to 100% everything (DLC 1&2 included) normal dificulty~ Overall: 9.5/10 - Except for the trainer levels everything is really good and straight forward. DLC 1 Review It expands on the available content from the base game such as returning chracters to battle (and bang) Overall its cheap enough that I wouldn't mind paying for a few more mins of additional content. No new Yarimon or location, not a problem for me. H-scenes: 10/10 improving on the base game. It adds 2-3 animated positions per scene. With emphasis on repeating characters Grind: 9/10 similar to before you will have a time where you can't fight most characters and forces you to fight characters around your level first. But provides a really nice challenging battles. Where you are always behind levels forcing you to use your brain. Overall: 10/10 - must get DLC 2 Review DLC 2 gives us a new, but small, region to explore (and ravage). It also adds new characters to fight (and bang) also adds new Yarimon 50 from the base game of 151 to a total of 201. Probably the only thing of note that most H-scenes here are back to the 1 position scenes compared to DLC1 but other than that it's still really good and an excellent place to grind for EXP Shards. Story: 10/10 - expands on the game's story and adds a region. H-scenes: 8/10 - Some returning characters and a few new ones added. I just hope there were more varieties to the positions. Grind: 10/10 - provided you finished DLC1 to completion then you will have an easier time over there. If you didn't you might be boned. Overall: 9/10 - It was still fun and more scenes for Best girl Flare ;) is really welcome for me. Powerful early Yarimons Messa > Mesalassa - Dark type Yarimon that can learn "Lamenting Spite" the most broken move especially on later levels. Imagine Poison but deals it 3x per turn. Wink > Tears > Glare - Normal type Yarimon. A quite tanky typeless unit with 2 of the most hard hitting typeless moves. Means 100% damage no matter what and no weakness. Also deals more damage against buffed enemies, which is a lot on later more difficult enemies. They are powerful for me but stick to whatever you want and just have fun. Thats it for me.

<HOW TO INSTALL PATCH BELOW> I beat it all the way through on the website version, bought the steam version to support more of this game. This review will make some of my friends eyebrow raise maybe but, I'm past my 20s, I don't care. lol So, I haven't played the non-patched version. I can't imagine this game without the 18+ stuff. All it'd be is a cheap pokemon knockoff, if we're being honest. The region is much smaller, the battle system is extremely simplified, there's only a few gyms, cities, you can only take 3 partners with you at a time so the battles are far shorter. Basically, the battles are not meant to have a lot of depth. They're meant to be quick. Why? So you can get the reward faster. The real motivation of the game is it's extremely naughty gimmick. I mean, maybe I, once or twice when I was younger, had some fantasies about the victory reward for beating other trainers being a bit on the naughty side. Maybe. I even wrote a concept for a visual novel with this idea in mind, and there's even some art of this idea on my patreon. So, to have a game go for it and REALLY commit.. Well, let's just say for me, it was exceptionally, extremely satisfying. Satisfying to find a new girl, and know, that if I beat her... Well. This game kinda brings out that naughtier, darker side of you that just has primal.. forbidden urges in your sick fantasy addled brain. To be clear, that's what this game feeds into. "Fantasies". It goes without saying, but consensual non-con situations like this game provides would be horrifying in a realistic setting. But this game isn't realistic. Like all japanese hentai media, they make fantasies about the taboo because once it stops being real, it's.. hot! And yeah, wow. The art style in this, the character designs, the scenes themselves, even the main character's ugly little bastard trope... So much kink variety. If you play this game, enjoy it, then you know what I mean. That aside, what else is there to say about this game? Well, the story is... actually pretty damn good. Like, don't get me wrong, I don't want Pokemon to suddenly became ultra mature or lose it's demographic of kids or anything(albeit, let's face it, their audience are the ones that grew up playing the game, not zoomers these days(No offense zoomers! <3). Yet, I miss the days when Pokemon had more interesting plots. Like, the villains were actually bad guys, your rival was an a-hole. That kind of thing. This one brings that kind of tone back, and without the 18+ stuff going on, I'm sure it still delivers on it. The story is mainly about a young trainer, a boy who isn't very popular, that can't seem to use a special device that would let him catch a Yarimon like every one else can. Yet, in his basement, he finds a unique Yairmon that can talk to him, and becomes his only friend. He tries to battle with it against his rival neighbor, a cute but somewhat mean gal. Losing 99 times and giving up 1000 bucks each time, she wants one more match to make it an even 100 wins for herself, but something happens with his Yarimon! It develops a move called Cheat Tackle, and upon using it, immediately defeats her Yarimon. In a strange twist(patch version at least), when a female trainer loses, they offer one hour of naughty interaction as a reward, as if it were obvious and normal. Everyone around who may witness it, doesn't react or find it strange in the slightest. So, suddenly, you have a very fun and engaging incentive to find as many cute female trainers as possible, and cheat your way into their... good side. There's a huge variety of girls(Over 60) in this game, the scenes are very unique in their poses and ideas, and the girl's personalities, but there's a few caveats for those who aren't so into the taboo stuff. Mainly, the main protagonist is not an adult, and if it wasn't obvious by the trailer, a lot of the trainers aren't either(That's why it needs an 18+ patch). This could be a deal breaker for a lot of people and I wouldn't blame them in the slightest. I won't justify anything here, I'll just say that I believe the author of the game and many amazing japanese artists understand the difference between fantasy and reality(Look at any high school fan service anime lol). So if it's not your thing, stay far away. So, all in all, the gameplay is pretty mid as a pokemon clone, but the NSFW incentive and the darker story are both great reason to enjoy the game. Each scene is animated in a unique and fun way, where there's like 3-4 frames looping to give the illusion of movement, but it's satisfying and way better than still images. The body and 'assets' clearly move like they should and react to the uhm, 'pounding', and uhh, yeah there's a LOT of extra optional scenes to enjoy for each girl too. For me, best h-game I've ever played, hands down. I hope for more, cause I love the art style of the artist behind it. Support it! Give it a shot if you're into this kind of thing. ;) Also, the rival is flippin adorable and many of the characters genuinely like the main protagonist, and it has that wholesome but not wholesome harem feel to it haha. Edit: There is a NSFW patch and I've seen way too many threads being created about it despite the solution being pointed out again and again so here it is. To install the NSFW patch, install the patch that matches your specific version. If you get the base game, install the base game NSFW patch. If you get the game and DLC 1, install JUST the DLC 1 patch, not both patches. If you get both DLC 1 and 2, install JUST the DLC 2 patch, ignore the first two. (To install the patch, pick your version, download, extract, copy the data folder into the game's direction and replace files. That's it. If there's two parts to a patch, the steps are the same, just copy the data folder from both parts and replace, do it in order. Copy part 1, then part 2.) Then just run the game ans enjoy.

Every once in a while I get the privilege of playing an adult game that has more content and depth than just being "Adult". This isn't another adult RPGmaker or Unity product that was produced as quick as possible in the name of profit. Think of a pokemon game with a lot of the grinding taken out. You'll need to get the official uncensored patch and download it. It's free. Install it and start playing the game. I had a sense that the team really cared about the game and that opinion was only set in stone once I got to the secret room and the development rooms. There's a lot of content for the money and is well worth the cost of admission. Should you buy it? If you're looking for a game that's quite fun, yes. The adult content is slow but there's enough of it and enough variety to keep you coming back. It's definitely not a visual novel to get your rocks off.

Let's be real, this is the Pokemon game we've always wanted. Even without the adult patch, the plot is way more intriguing than even Pokemon BW. But do yourself a favor and install the adult patch. We all know you want to. :P
