initially i bought this game cuz i'm a hardcore gooner (i downloaded the r18 patch shh) but this game is actually so peak i completely forgot about the h-scenes dude this review is spoiler free btw i haven't finished the game yet but this game genuinely got my ass glued onto my seat i didnt realize that ive been playing for 6 hours straight that's how good it is before you play the game, i highly suggest for you to NOT look for spoilers and BE PATIENT!! (thankfully i was patient enough to not get fully spoiled) why? because the plot twists in this game are genuinely mind-boggling and its best to go in blind and stay unaware (ignorance is bliss or whatever idk if i used it correctly lol) if you're playing the game without the h-scenes, then it's cool, but PLEASE know that the h-scenes are (somehow) relevant to the plot and it's an important turning point to where the story is heading towards and dont get me started on the soundtrack. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its so peak, this game got me into Keigo Iwase (singer of the song in the trailer) and actually made my ears orgasm so much its begging for me to stop you guys should listen to his other music it's amazing. yeah thats about it its a perfect 10/10 for me

ABSOLUTELY SPOILER-FREE REVIEW. Before I start my review, I just have to say, what an absolutely beautiful game. For people who went in here expecting something similar to DDLC like I did, please go in completely blind. I ruined the experience for myself a little bit when I refused to go in blind and spoiled a little bit of the plot for myself. At first, I did doubt this game because of the NSFW content I heard about (and due to it being developed by Nitroplus, I really didn't have high hopes), but I discovered that really wasn't in the game as much as I thought it was. This game will set your expectations a lot higher than DDLC. There are a few moments that really do make you cringe a little bit if you're not big into the "NSFW" sort of thing, and there are just really corny moments, but overall the game is just incredible. The art is absolutely stunning, but paired with the story, it's even better. If you are going to buy this game, do NOT read a guide until it is absolutely necessary or you are lost. You do not need a guide. Don't spoil anything for yourself! This game is seriously like no other. It was an emotional rollercoaster. It had me laughing at certain points, in shock at other points, and then to top it all off, I cried at the very end. The only downside to the game was that a few parts can get a little tedious and frustrating but other than that, I mean, wow. Seriously, it was mind-blowing. This will change your view on visual novels from when you start to play the game to when you finish it. I loved this game. I really did. It made me think once I finished it. However, just because it got me emotionally attached to the characters, no way does it mean is it worth $30. It is not worth that amount of money. Please get it on sale for 50% off or more. This is an absolute "must-play" if stories/visual novels are your type of game. This game gets you (quite literally) involved in the story and is nothing but art. Don't let people try to sway you into buying the patch from JAST's website. You don't need it. At all. This story is so meaningful without the porn people will try so hard to convince you to buy. The porn is not necessary to this story at all. Please, try this game before you form a negative opinion on it. It left me speechless in the best way possible. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is interested in it.

As a hardcore DDLC fan... This makes DDLC look like child's play. 20 hours worth of gameplay. The ending is amazing. Do NOT expect this to be gore horror, jumpscares, or any of that, it's very subtle psychological horror. But it definitely leaves you heavily impacted by the end of it.

Listen pimps, i see you. saw the "overwhelmingly positive" review score on a steam sale did you? never played a visual novel that isnt Ace Attorney? me too me too... listen, pimp. if you have the *drizzle drizzle*, the expendable income, if you will. just buy the game. if you bought the game, you MUST, traverse the web to find the gooner 'directors cut' patch that you WILL pay another 3 dollars USD for. that's all i'm willing to tell you, if you aren't convinced, read on Never, in all of my days, would i think that a game would make use of it's GOONER genre tropes to tell a genuinely more compelling narrative.. what i'm trying to say is. this game would be a worse, narrative experience, without the 'H-scenes' the game starts off slow, intentionally, and i'm just not willing to discuss further on what that could entail. experience this for yourself pimp. dare i say you WILL feel some ♥♥♥♥. godspeed, accept the judgement from your steam friends-list and achieve spiritual tempering. Namaste.

This VN tells a very unique story that will surprise you. Although having a slow start, the game does payoff brilliantly later on. Highly recommend going in blind and trying it for yourself.
