It's fine. I think its worth a shot on sale, and I am very excited for the next game, but I will say that it is very micromanagement based which makes the gameplay TIGHT. I barely have enough time in the day to make a video, edit and post a video, and then go hang out with the huzz and bruzz. I want to sink more time into it eventually but It got a little too much to manage at times. Still worth a play though.

Youtubers Life 2 is a cute life sim where you play as an aspiring Youtuber trying to become the best in the world while also saving your city from peril. The story in this game, while simple, is fun and ridiculous, and the characters all have zany personalities that are fun to discover as you get closer to them. The world is a good size for this game, and it is filled with so many new things to discover and trends to follow. At times, the game feels too on the rails, forcing me into objectives I didn't necessarily want and ignoring ones I might have. (I've still never done a speedrun video, for example, because the game forced too many other types of gameplay videos.) There are too many things that are unclear too, like specific items to gift neighbors, or how to capture certain trends (the USBs especially were cryptic). I also hated the pacing of the real YouTubers' implementation, as the end game had me sleeping away whole seasons just for the random chance that they would spawn. This game lacks a final layer of polish, but I enjoyed it a lot, especially getting to know the neighbors and laughing at the nonsensical but fun story. Despite its flaws, I'd still recommend it as a cutesy on-the-rails life sim.

Overall I enjoyed this game, (I never played the first one). I especially liked the open world, the story line and side quests with townsfolk. I will say I felt like the day went by fast and I was always rushing but I think it would be too easy otherwise so you might just have to miss out on a few trends from time to time lol.

Personally, I really enjoy the game. Like any other game it takes a while for you to make things easier, like buying the scooter to move faster, or the auto editing video station. Its a fun and enjoyable game, I've played both Youtubers Life 1 and 2, and I particularly like this one best, you can walk/take the metro/use scooter to go to the other towns. There are missions that take a while for you to achieve but I think thats part of the experience, for you to know the other characters' background and story line before just getting the thing and moving on to the next. I don't understand what people are complaining about (Especially after seeing how many game hours they had on the game compared to the other reviews), sure the game is not perfect and has its glitches but Youtubers Life 1 is one game and this is another, (LIKE I SAID THIS IS MY OPINION) I don't believe it's fair to compare them, its different eras, different games. Point is, if you are thinking about buying it go with your gut and not with the comments (yes that counts mine), if you want it, get it. If not thats okay.

8/10 It's a lot better than the 1st game, and it is fun but still has some issues/bugs like how as of typing this, if you have a full inventory and an NPC gifts you something, the game just deletes the item they ment to give you, witch includes quest items, the game only saves if you finish the day so you can just reopen the game to fix the mistake, but its not as bad, I enjoy this game and recommend it on sale, the only other major issue this game has is how hard it is for you to find anything about it to help yourself.
