Fun pixel art singleplayer tarkov-like. UI is atrocious. No notifications when you can level up or upgrade. Inventory is lacking in basic QoL functions. No idea whenever a NPC has a new quest. The hideout upgrading is weird. Very frustrating, puts me off. THE WHOLE THING NEEDS A REWORK!!! Coming back after a year or so and seeing that not much has changed in this area is disappointing and discouraging. On the other hand it speaks on how good the game is, if it makes me look past these issues.

Controller (steam deck) feels awful to navigate menus with, which you have to do a lot. There's also no controller settings or button mapping. Cloud saves don't work? These are my issues I hope the dev fixes, aside from them the game is great.

If you enjoy extraction shooters like tarkov without the sweats and the cheaters, then this game is a gem waiting for you. Single player and lots of sweet guns to play with!

Dont let the graphics make you think this game is basic... it is anything but its so in depth and is constantly worked on by the Dev.. its like a mix of Stalker and Tarkov with the same levels of modifications and what i would say is more pliability.. it has a story, cool and optional missions, optional stealth and you can make the game as easy or hard as you want.. by default it doesnt have perma death so you dont lose your gear like you do in Tarkov but in setting you can make it so brutal, I highly recommend trying a 0 to hero and starting yourself with no gear its a truely crazy fun experience Absolutely Epic Game and I Highly Recommend it 10/10

This scratches my tarkov itch perfectly without all the problems tarkov has. When I picked this up I was concerned that being top down would make this game very shallow tactically, but Zero Sievert delivers. Fog of war, accuracy stabilization, and rather aggressive recoil give this game a fairly good tactical feel. Combat gives me that same rush I've gotten from tarkov at its prime, and there's plenty of loot to be had and money to be earned. A number of reviews complain that snipers have a minimum range; firstly it should be clarified it's not a *strict* minimum that completely cuts it off, it's like damage falloff but in reverse. Secondly, it may be unrealistic, but I think it's a reasonable measure for balance. I find it adds more depth to the game to have to decide when to switch to your secondary rather than using the sniper for everything.
