I binged all 5 games in a fugue state. I became extremely attached to all the characters, and now I don't know what to do with myself. If you like escape rooms, get this game. If you like horror stories, get this game. If you like learning about Chinese culture/opera, get this game. This is probably the strongest game in the series, but they were all amazing. The puzzles can be a little hit/miss but the hint function is your friend. Now I'm devastated to learn there's virtually no other games in this genre of escape room/horror/puzzle game, and I don't know what to do with myself until HeartBeat Plus releases something else. I got two of my friends and my mother also playing this series, I really can't overstate how fun it is. Beautiful, captivating, and creepy all at once. When will 6 be out???

One of the best of the series so far ! This episode has less reading-related puzzles so it makes it easier to understand (less possible translation misinterpretations), although I couldn't get all the answers right away. The story is nice, with previous characters, and the soundtrack is better too ! The series is really going in the right direction !

This is a wonderful series! I played through it all in the last few weeks and just finished 5, and am now eagerly looking forward to the next in the series. I love watching the quality improve over time through each game. It is a really fantastic story, artwork, and now voice acting. I can't imagine the amount of research that must have gone into everything with how many references to folklore and history are throughout the games. I challenging series, with puzzles that will test you across a wide range of skills, so you will thank the hint button.

I collect all of Paper Bride Series, artwork and music too. Really love the fact that they collab with professional Peking Opera Company for these cultural elements in game. Highly recommended if you like horror and puzzles plus Asian Culture, particularly the Chinese Opera. Even if not, give it a try! Didn't expect I'll be really liking the series until I tried it, beautiful artwork, awesome music, so decided to purchase everything to support the developers!
