Quite good writing, made me and my girlfriend cry like sentimental homos. We also each picked a character to read aloud, by happenstance the one that felt more like us, so that helped. It was an enjoyable but weepy experience and we liked it. The 6th and 7th endings feel kinda superfluous and unnecessary but not a big deal.

Simplicity and Artistry Make Good Games I hate story-focused games, and I'm a gamer who prefers gameplay over graphics. I like games with interesting mechanics and reasons to replay for hours and hours. I'm talking about games like Monster Hunter, Elden Ring, and Dead Cells . And then there’s this game—a story-focused game where the gameplay consists of clicking and admiring the artwork. A game I beat in less than an hour. Surely, I would hate this, but surprisingly, I think this game is a true hidden gem. The simplicity of the story, combined with some strong themes, is this game's greatest strength—anyone can relate. Naturally, some people will be turned away; it is a love story, after all. But I would urge anyone who’s even remotely interested to give it a try. It’s a nice breather from the gaming landscape. Sometimes, these big AAA games have long, boring stories with some cartoonish villain named something like Gilgamesh, Lord of Chaos , and I often get lost in the absurdity of it all. That’s not to say that good, complex stories like Baldur’s Gate can’t exist and flourish, but I think a lot of games could look at this and take notes. There are no tedious monologues or lengthy tutorials. You don’t have to look at some poorly rendered 3D model and ask them generic questions such as “ Do you have any jobs for me? ” or “ What can you tell me about {insert quest-relevant thing here}? ” All you need to play this game is a warm blanket on a cold night and some tissues. That’s all you need to know. It’s a simple game that looks good and has a heartwarming story. It took me less than an hour to beat but had more of an impact on me than some of these AAA games could ever dream of.

Lesbian couple pulls player's heartstrings in simple but captivating VN about love and loss Angela He's is the master of soft pastel colors, relaxing lo-fi soundtracks and stories that can take you from cute and funny to serious and tragic in a snap. If you do not have an emotional response to this, you are probably dead.

Angela He is a developer who continues to share her insights with subtlety and enlightenment. How her calmy and therapeutic mind offer an forevermore experience compiled with shades of innocence as life partakes from happiness and illness. Furthermore, it interwinds concepts with huge pays off with the lesser it has. With their pastel looking visuals addresses the given mood at each moment transitioning from joy into grief. And lastly how much of "them" is expressed rather than said. A new life is a short stroll to what life awaits for us, and what keeps us moving on the next day for the ones have gone.

There were so many reasons to love her. The way she'd kiss me good morning (always up earlier). The way she'd hug me good night. The nights when we couldn't sleep. So we shared dreams and fears we've never shared before. And she was mine.
