I'm no stranger to Devcat's games, I've been there since they released their first hidden object game — I have to say this is their best one yet. It is chock full of references, charming, not too short, and the difficulty is just right. I feel this is worth mentioning since it's a huge part of their aspirations as a game developer but what really sets them apart from others in this genre (apart from the charm) are that some of the proceeds of your purchase go towards stray cats, adoptive cats and cats in need. Animal welfare is a topic that is especially important to me so that little touch is very meaningful.

There are a lot of "find all the cats" hidden object games out there and they are mostly all fun. But Devcats' games go above and beyond well done. Great art, lots of content, extra quests, some of the music is very catchy, some things will make you laugh, and their games are just SO fun. They have puzzle games as well - I recommend Cats Love Boxes. Also, spending money on their games helps cats in real life. I will buy each and every game they make and if you like searching for cats, definitely pick up A Tower Full of Cats. You won't be disappointed.

No joke, this is my GOTY of 2024. Somehow I got almost 6 hours out of it, but there's definitely idling involved in that playtime. I paid a fiver for it, worth every penny. It's very relaxing, colorful and cute. Find all the cats, help 'em out.

Perhaps the most impressive and longest game Devcats has done so far! The tower in the game represents the history of mankind. Each floor is from a particular time period: we start at the bottom (prehistory) and eventually reach the "future" which essentially means building a spaceship and allowing our little ones to flee planet Earth in search of a better place. Now, because of the task of constructing a ship not only do we need to find cats but also nuts and bolts. At first, you notice the "hint" feature only helps with pets but there is a special screen with an inventory. As you go up, each floor has a special cat you can talk to (familiar faces from the series) who gives a task. This usually means finding something else such as plastic bottles (for the purpose of recycling) or pots where we can put seeds. And here you notice that in this game cats are not the only focus (message) but A Tower Full of Cats also reminds you of the importance of saving our planet. Floor access requirements are tied to cats (not all of them, though) and to the special tasks, too. For the latter we can't use any hints. And we have interior locations as well. These are time period specific so in prehistory we can check 2 caves, in medieval times we look for cats in a torture chamber and in modern times we have rooms with items / pieces of furniture from the '60, '80s and 2010s etc. In typical Devcats fashion just because we managed to help our friends with the ship and reached another planet, we can still return to previous locations to complete unfinished tasks. I liked that many items we gain allows us to access new locations and the best is the special device at the end when 10 cats are added to each floor (including the inside locations) but their clothing suggests that they have been misplaced. So, with the teleportation device we can send them back to their original time period. And if you struggle with the bolts and nuts, a metal detector will be of great help. To ensure there is no real difficulty, but a relaxing experience instead is what we get. I found this game a great pastime and easily the longest (and best) we have had from the team so far. An Arcade... comes in close 2nd for me.

This is the best game from Devcast I've played. And I've played them all. Highly recommend it for you my friends! Super cozy, relaxing and cute <3 There are several additional levels hidden so keep looking for them ; )
