Still a good game, worth playing if you haven't before or if you're just feeling nostalgic... I would be hopeful still for another installment, but I think that's more wishful than wanting Titanfall 3. Sifu is a successor in a way, but the style and community isn't there. Absolver 2 pleas.
Still desperately wishing for a true sequel. Multiplayer unfortunately pretty dead, but I still go back to this one once in awhile. It is built on an incredible fighting engine with a lot of freedom. I spent many hours just playing around with different combinations for fighting styles, practical or not. Takes quite a bit of effort if you want to go for the 100%, and even just completing the game can be quite difficult. You can get a great deal further for even learning moves from the schools available if you have at least one friend to play with so you can have an easier time connecting for PvP, though it is absolutely not necessary to enjoy this game.
As a muay thai specialist, this game truly imitates the feel. My wife left me three years ago, ive been having really hard time coping with this, my therapist says I should get out more, but everywhere I go I see her face, im like donnie darko in a sick and twisted sense. perchancedly? Furthermore, I would really like to see a future installation for the absolver title.
Bought this on the night of the release. After 8 years I have come back, and was unable to put it down for 100 more hours. There is really nothing quite like absolver. Both in good and bad sense. Probably the most unique fighting game out there, yet falling just short of achieving longevity due to some poor balancing and design changes. If you are going to pick this up, do yourself a favor, and start with Windfall (unless you are absolutely attached to the other two). Forsaken and Khalt are the parts that got left behind by the balancing. Even with 30 people average, you can still find matches, at least in NA. For 3 dollars, it is worth a try.
