I'm changing my review to recommended for the following reasons: The game includes a wealth of content, multiple characters and is a very enjoyable experience. The Early Access tag on it does not reflect how complete it actually is. While the studio had to disband, for whatever reason, this isn't a pump and dump case, they did put a commendable amount of effort into their product and it does deliver the experience it promised. The thing that didn't get finished is the monetization, which is not a bad thing for the player, obviously.

Hidden gem, can't recommend enough! Don't let the mixed rating scare you away, this game has enough content for its price point. The Hero you choose for each mission offers unique abilities, buildings and units to train. So there's a lot of playing around and trying to find the type of playstyle you want to have. There's meta game progression for both game modes which is a nice touch! If you like defense games like They are billions or Age Of Darkness, this will scratch that itch.

Really good they are billions clone with sci-fi tilt. It's flagged as early access but is finished enough whether its development is abandoned or not. 400+ hours for me, no crashed etc

If you like They Are Billions! but wanted something sci-fi, then look no further. While the game is abandoned, it's feature complete enough to be playable. There's stuff to unlock, each hero has their own units, etc. There's no campaign, but the survivor portion works just fine.
