Dense and theatrical I got into the game blind, only having read the reviews, and I did not expect such an immersive mecha anime game with time loops. Kinda. I expected a visual novel. But this is VR, and that truly made a big difference. I played on a Meta 3S headset and it ran perfectly My highlights: - The mecha fights are truly epic, also when seen from the ground; - Voice acting (I played with English dubs/subs, a rarity, but I love Chloe's voice actress' voice, Chelsey Moore); - The game has an actual intro OVA; - Noa's concerts; - The story & multiple endings; - The characters (small cast but mostly well-developed). What I liked less: - Although the mecha fights are epic, having to replay them multiple times with no way to fast forward (for most of them) to unlock different endings made it a bit more tedious. Small nitpick and I understand having to replay certain portions of the game for the different endings to ensure all flags get triggered. Overall an amazing VR visual novel.

a terrific sci-fi mecha/kaiju VN style game that makes excellent use of the VR staging. would recommend to anyone with a VR headset. minor script errors in a few places, and a mix of perfect and peculiar voice acting. fantastic musical pieces throughout, with maybe one nitpick. Multiple endings, with subtle hints toward new routes.

Edit: Now I have finished all True Ending runs, and honestly it was great, I really enjoyed it and got real goosebumps at some parts. Would recommend. I honestly really been enjoying it so far, and I've only unlocked 2 paths, first one was def shorter then the 2nd, but both are really impressive. I do think the Mecha battles, while cool looking, lack a bit of substance in terms of actual actions and combat. Where the game shines is the story itself, your first run the story may feel a bit lacking, but when memories from your previous runs start giving you possibilities to branch into brand new runs you're going to start finding a much deeper depth than you bargained for. VR Visual Novels are something I want to see more of, though I would like the occasional notification of "You can take a break here!" Because playing 5 hours straight starts to hurt after a while.
