surprisingly solid for its length! the story gave me quite some things to chew upon (hence the 3 hour long playthrough; i think the story itself is only around 1.5 to 2 hours long if you're not stopping to write paragraphs every now and then lol) and i'm left quite pleased finishing it. very fascinated by the self-body-house continuum lately, and it's why i'm so taken by the story. utilised the visual novel fanart quite well, also. however, i wonder how different the first part of the story would feel were it to take sofia's perspective first. it certainly does feel more intriguing that way, though the gameplay would lose its choice continuity since amelie's choices carry over to sofia's perspective, so i understand the decision to have amelie's part come first. to be honest, i'm quite surprised! i discovered two and a half studio from ADWD and when it does deal with heavier stuff here and there, the times it was incorporated felt a little flippant and disjointed. but here it was sewn neatly into the story, despite being way shorter (or maybe Because it is way shorter...). very intriguing stuff! looking forward to see more yuri (if the studio has it in its drafts...) from u guys heheheheee>_<

I picked this up after playing A Date With Death and I'm glad I did! While not having the same amount of content to it as A Date With Death, Amelie has one of the better uses of the VN format I've seen, as every playthrough of the story builds on the previous one, unveiling the story little by little. As you play you get to see the story from three perspectives, and I appreciated that all three did in fact have distinct voices. One small criticism is that I would have preferred more consistency with the art, as the sprites were quite different from every other artwork in the game, and also made the characters appear much younger than they actually are.

Great VN, short and sweet. I like the way the story slowly expands and you understand more and more about it with every route/playthrough, I think it was a really cool idea. You do have to click the words that show up on screen (___ her/your fate) in the Sophia and Lilika routes though which I did not pick up on at first and just skipped past though
