This is basically a Breakout and OG Mario Bros (before Super Mario Bros) style game with a Wario Land 4 aesthetic and movement. The characters are charming and I am especially a Dynamite Annie fan, pretty sure most people are too. The gameplay is actually quite challenging NGL but it's pretty fun and addictive. Never thought that playing and hitting balls can be both hard and fun at the same time...wait. Anyway, how do I put it...Antonball Deluxe is kind of the time waster gem you find on many of the potato PCs of your secondary school computer lab (unreleated and totally different type of game but shoutout the GOAT that is Space Pinball). Plus, another strong point is that the price is also generously cheap! Recommend 8/10.
definitely a fun little title!! worth the 5 bucks :] however do beware that this game gets HARD towards the end, and there are more than a few bugs. i've gotten hardlocked a couple of times and had to restart the whole game,, doesn't take away from my enjoyment though! fun to play with friends :]
Modern retro gaming at its finest. Who woulda thunk that the award-winning ANTONBLAST had its roots come from this? Though some stages gave me an unreasonable amount of trouble, and the ball trajectory is occasionally jank, it's all-around a great game for five dollars! Wish there was someone to share it with... online severs are a ghost town. :|
