I installed this game thinking I was getting a military simulator. Instead, I got PTSD from trees. One minute I'm leading a perfectly coordinated assault. The next, my driver somehow flips a Humvee into low Earth orbit after hitting what I can only assume was an aggressive pebble. Communication goes from: "Enemy north, 300 meters!" to "WHO THE HELL STOLE THE HELICOPTER?" Five minutes later the helicopter is upside down in a lake, the pilot says it was "part of the plan," and somehow we still win the objective. You'll spend 45 minutes planning an attack that lasts 12 seconds because Dave forgot what blue smoke meant and called artillery on the squad. The enemy isn't the other team. It's your own teammates. You'll die to: A bush. A teammate backing over you. Someone yelling "clear backblast" half a second too late. Falling down a hill because your soldier has the balance of a drunk giraffe. Every firefight feels like you're starring in an action movie directed by absolute idiots, and somehow that's exactly what makes this game amazing. 10/10. Would absolutely spend two hours driving logistics just to get vaporized by one guy hiding in a tree again.

I joined a random lobby and played for 20 minutes, then decided to try out the helicopters. As soon as I got in the helicopter, some guy hopped into the passenger seat. I told him I had never flown a helicopter, so he decided to teach me and spent 2 minutes teaching me the helicopter controls. As soon as we were airborne, I could not control it at all and I crashed it multiple times. He told me I was an amazing pilot and that I should fly for al-Qaeda. Safe to say, I'll never fly a helicopter again. 10/10 game

my first game: I spawn in and have no clue were i am and what I'm doing. a guy is driving around in a car - i hop in. he drives around. he stops and gives me the driver seat. i drive straight into a forest and somehow find a helipad with a heli on it - with allied pilot in it. we hop into the heli and take of. we fly for about 5 min until we start gettin' shot at. pilot dies. we crash into the sea. we ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SWIM INTO SHORE (1-2 km) when we are back on the Island again we capture a point, i grab a car and my buddy hops in. i start driving along a road. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TANK pulls up and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DISINTEGATES US. i die🥰

Verdict: 👍 Recommended I have spent 1,200 hours in Arma Reforger, which means I am legally part of the terrain. I no longer play the game — I inhabit it. I know which rock flips vehicles, which bush whispers lies, and which patch of grass is responsible for 70% of my deaths. This is not a shooter. This is a long-term relationship with military-grade frustration. I complain about performance while running 37 mods I refuse to uninstall. Every update breaks something. Every patch fixes nothing. I will be here forever. Highly recommended.
