ARTIFACT SEEKER: RESURRECTION , is a survivors-like with an attempt at an engaging over-arching story. However, due to the fact that the game seems to have been seemingly abandoned, there is no satisfying conclusion to it. The game has rough machine translations from Chinese but they are perfectly serviceable. The game does use AI artwork however, that should not be used to discredit the game and it is disclosed in the store listing. The game has plenty of different builds that work and the difficulty is very manageable even when cranked to the highest. The meta progression is fairly quick but the game has an abundance of out of run mechanics that allow players TONS of min-maxing if they wish. The visuals are amazing in this game, with each skill being striking and looking impactful. That does not mean that the battlefield is visually clear however, with mid to late game builds just being one big epilepsy warning. It really is a shame, it was clear that the developer listened to the community and really cared about their game. There are so many togglable quality of life features that just make sense, and you would have to BEG to be added to others of the genre. Give it a try if you're looking for another survivors-like to get hooked on and don't be discouraged by the semi-unfinished state of it, the game is still great and worth a play. PROS : - Lots of characters, weapons, and skill variety - Non-repetitive gameplay with each run feeling unique - Plenty of min-maxing opportunities and meta upgrades - Difficulty feels fair even at the highest - Care put into the quality of life CONS : - Machine translations make lore confusing - Extremely grindy to min-max - Seemingly abandoned game so no story conclusion or explanation - Not much difference in how different stages are played or different enemies are fought I guess it is unlikely we will ever know what THE artifact is nor why we are seeking it.

Not the greatest and not the worse. Grab this on sale if you like bullet hell action roguelikes. I found it fun initially due to needing to unlock stuff and the variety of characters are real nice as are the graphics. Gameplaywise, I do feel its not well balanced due to getting too powerful too soon though to some degree it does feel good kicking ass - I mean with auto aim on, I am just moving around the screen collecting stuff while everything dies around me. Some may find this boring, not challenging enough, or grindy to play to earn gems to unlock everything. Its not going to be for everyone but I enjoyed it and for the sale price is definitely providing some fun.

The demo is generous in how much of the game you can play, so I put over 3h in that before buying the game. It's fun. The game mechanics are nicely intertwined, so there are many ways to progress and trade-off stats to push things beyond their limits. There's some fun events, and combat encounters have a decent length of a few minutes each.

It's an interesting Survivor Roguelike game. I'll be honest, the first 5 to 7 hours was good because there's some progression to achieve. But after that, maxing out and unlocking all, you become so overpowered that I needed to interrupt the endless run because my character never died, even stationary. My cons are you can't barely see anything if you have more than 3 AOE skills blasting the screen. And the worst one was on the almost 20 hours of gameplay I had a lot of difficulty finding my cursor. There's some skills you need the cursor to point. And not finding your cursor because the excessive amount of particles on the screen can be really annoying. Other than that was a fun experience overall.
