As a huge fan of the genre, I would easily put it in its top tier - along with the likes of The Quarry and Detroit: Become Human. More than decent replayability too, thanks to its multitude of branching paths with interesting outcomes. Strong recommendation for anyone interested in narrative-first games.
Absolutely fantastic story and many branching paths, I place this one at the same level as the other critically acclaimed narrative-driven games from Telltale Games and Quantic Dream. I can understand the art style is not everyone's cup of tea, but it didn't bother me personally. My only serious gripe with the game is the inability to skip dialogues or fast-forward to easily explore more branching paths for subsequent playthroughs. There is also one plot point left open by the end, though the rest get their proper endings.
A very underrated game in its genre. Each character is revealed in their own way, showing us their experiences, their history, and their reactions to what's happening when they all find themselves in the same boat, and it's incredibly interesting. I mean, you really care about them. There are characters with relatable family problems, as well as "troubled" teenagers who can also resonate with someone's heart. I'd also like to mention the unusual graphics and art style; for me personally, it looks very beautiful and feels like you're already watching a movie, sometimes helping the characters. Despite the rather simple QTEs, this game is based on the realistic portrayal of difficult fates and tragic consequences for each character, but many of them are also able to find peace despite what they've been through
