My first VR rhythm game... and suddenly I’m burning calories instead of just burning time. 🕺💦 Gameplay / Concept: Audio Trip feels like a mix between dancing and doing a full-on cardio workout. It’s not exactly “dance” in the strict sense, but it constantly keeps you moving — ducking, swinging, reaching. My smartwatch shows solid calorie burn after 1+ hour sessions, and yes, I always end up drenched in sweat. Perfect aerobic routine for days when dragging myself to the gym feels impossible. Music & Customization: The included tracks are solid, but the real magic is that you can play custom songs (Google is your friend here 😉). That opens up endless replayability and keeps things fresh. Fitness Value: This game basically tricked me into exercising. It’s fun, it’s intense, and it gives you that satisfying “I worked out” feeling without leaving your living room. Verdict: Not just a game — it’s my personal VR cardio trainer in disguise. If you want to dance, sweat, and laugh at yourself flailing around… this is the trip you’re looking for.

A Synth Riders' clone that is BETTER and MORE FUN than Synth Riders. It's also a better dancing game than all the other VR rhythm games I tried, which were many. I tried all the better known ones, including beat saber, ohshape, dance collider, pistol whip, audica, ragnarock, and obviously, synth riders. Audio Trip was the last vr rhythm game I tried, and it automatically went to my top 3 in the entire category. It is very fun to play, great for cardio, and the level design truly works to make the player move as if he or she was dancing with the song, as expected. The level designer for this game did a spectacular job. I would highly recommend Audio Trip for anyone that likes VR rhythm games and fun VR cardio/fitness games in general.
