This game was made in 2015, so if you're new to this and wondering where to get MP3 files without getting a virus, I definitely wouldn't tell you. Piracy is a crime and a very serious one at that. There are murderers and pedophiles on the loose in America, but God forbid poor Timmy downloads GOT Season 3, Episode 9, they absolutely need to be fined $100,000 and put into jail for 5 years because they don't want to subscribe to Max. I definitely would never pirate any form of digital media whatsoever, I also would never ever admit tell you that I got all of my songs from spotifydown.com, no siree. I am an upstanding citizen of the law. I would also never recommend moving your illegally downloaded songs into your music folder to make things easier. Edit: As of June 2025, SpotifyDown has very un fortunately been removed, it now just redirects you to Spotify's web player. Hip, hip hooray, one less horrid, piracy site down, what a win for the billion-dollar company. I'm definitely not going to reveal the fact that the original developers of SpotifyDown have made a new website called spotidownloader.com, they are very terrible and naughty people, shame on them.

Great game, can play any song without worrying about someone making a map. Would appreciate if there was some newer version of this with better UI.

This game slappers in 2024. They turned off the Youtube URL support but a community patch restores that, and is mandatory for this game to be 10/10. get high and lock in

Its pretty fun if you're a music enthusiast and the game really shines when played with fast-paced songs(especially electronic music) with changing rhythms and flows. Swing also really affects how rollercoaster tracks are formed and played out. The big CAVEAT is that the base game no longer has the key feature of being able to search on YouTube for the songs but now requires you have a file copy of the song. This was only because YouTube was not fine with the feature. NONETHELESS, there is a mod(not on Steam Workshop- on a website) that reintegrates that feature back into the game and its pretty easy to do. There are also mods on the Steam Workshop to help customize the visuals of the game(maybe more- haven't look much into it).

Arguably a weaker in-game experience than its predecessor, Audiosurf 2 is still easily worth a recommendation because it's another dose of the Audiosurf experience. It's also undeniably a better game in every way outside of the actual ride. The UI looks way cleaner, the workshop support is a small but nice benefit, and the main reason I would suggest 2 over 1 is the audiosurf2.info mod. The ability to play tracks off of youtube basically negates the only real drawback of the game (limited pool of tracks unless you have a big downloaded music library).
