It’s a fun and addictive game but after 20 hours or so, the enemies take longer to kill. I haven’t been playing this game since early Nov 2024 and I didn't bother after. They haven’t released any more updates since Dec 11 of 2024. I wish the company nerfed the enemies to make it easier and less harder to kill. What I mean is, is the balance issue in the later game. You get everything for that price with no Pay to win contents and no ads. I still give this game a thumbs up for fun and addictive but they need to fix the balance issue. But I lost interest after it seemed they abandoned the PC port and kept the mobile up to date. It could be worth over there but beware of Pay to win and ads. The game is worth over 100s of hours of content.

happy to find this on steam, played this on phone great game to wind down - kill enemies, explore map, create your own team (mobile version has in app purchases. but the steam version does NOT. Gems instead you get free by playing)

Fun game and a great way to kill time. Grindy, but worth it to feel a sense of satisfaction for your achievements. This is how games used to be before companies started subscribing to the DLC market (or worse, subscriptions/battle passes). Folks complaining about the amount of grinding needed are the same ones who'd rather spend money to get late-game items to make things easier, perpetuating this predatory cycle from greedy game devs (*cough*EA*cough*).

Okayish, 7/10. Echoing other reviewers, it becomes extremely repetitive and grindy at some point...

T/L-D/R: Game is a grind for upgrade resources/gear check based shooter, bosses are basic "kill the adds before boss spawns more, dont stand in fire and dodge slow, big, moving projectiles" type bosses, except for the mech bosses in the final area, they are more of a gear check/los them until either your shield dude is good to fight again or your heal items are ready to use again. Game took me 73 hours and 30 mins to complete once you take out afk time. Long version: Finally beat the game. It's as alot of other reviews say, its very grindy. The whole reason why only 3.8% of people that have bought this game have beaten it, is because of how grindy it is, not due to difficulty. The story is nothing special but its not bad either (most of it is told via the characters you find, once they get back to base after having saved them, you talk to them and then question them for info). Most people get burnt out of the game with in the first 10-20 hours of game play it seems judging by the reviews since it is all very "samey/reptitive". The bosses are nothing new, they are pretty much gear checks, although you could kite them to a rock if you wanted too, wait for their clip to run out, then pop out and hit them for the 2/3 seconds it takes to reload, but that would make them take a VERY long time, and as i said, most spawn enemies, about 6 each time and if you dont burn them down fast enough, the boss will spawn more and you will be overwhelmed by mobs and die. Plus they have 3 "phases" each which seems to transition every 30% hp or so (just gain another attack or spawn harder to kill mobs or spawn an extra mini boss). Their is lots of upgrading to do, can lvl up your character, base, gear and so on. Speaking of your base, the one negative review that has gotten a chunk of upvotes, the dude says something along the lines of "I got to the korean base and gave up and choose to cheat and give myself all the mats to upgrade the shit out of my self, since it would take me another 60 hours to grind for it"..... yeah..... the korean base and your starting base are almost one in the same. Your upgrade's from your first base transfer over 100%. The only difference is that you get access to a food stash that has an upgrade cap of lvl 3 (so unlock it, then upgrade it twice) and it does not require alot of mats. Plus he had 60 hours clocked in, so im guessing, about, ill say, 55ish hours clocked in before he cheated (which he admits to) to upgrade himself to all hell and made a B line for the last boss as fast as possible and finished the game at 60 hours played. As i said above, i beat the game in 73 and a half. so no, it would not have taken him another 60 hours to grind out what would be needed to beat the game. (looking back on it, i could have beaten the last boss with less upgrade's then what i had, so even sooner). Still, as i said above, the game is grindy, so i can understand that part 100%. Then it gives you 2 goliaths and access to the ability to upgrade your goliaths (they are not needed to beat the game, hell, i found them kinda useless personally and never bothered to use them, and yes, i did upgrade them, still did not find them useful). Past the extra food storage (which again, is a small amount to cap) and the golaiths, the base is the exact same as your first. The only other thing the korean base has past this, is "end game" content via challenges. These challenges can be done any time and provide rewards for finishing them. Its really just fighting multiple bosses at once or fighting 1 boss with only 2 or 3 squad members rather then 4, or fighting multiple bosses with only 2-3 squad members. Sometime's they let you use goliath's and some times not. The npc will let you know if you can take the mech into the fight or not when you try to do it. As for bugs, i encountered a sound bug that was very odd and seemed to be restricted to certain area's. When i would aim/shoot to the left, the sound would be normal volume then when i would aim to the right and fire, the sound would be very quiet as if the volume lvl dropped to only 20% of what it should be. Not game breaking, but annoying none the less. Past that, the game ran just fine. Also, in the youtube vids, almost all are for the mobile version, in this game (the steam version), in the last area, all the mobs including the last boss, are lvl 11, not lvl 12. Thats pretty much it for this review. Overall i found the game to be decently enjoyable. That being said, be prepared to grind cause again, dont forget, only 3.8% of ppl that have bought this game have bothered to finish it due to how grindy it is. I got by without spending mats on gear for a long while (i focused on just upgrading the base early game, crafted VERY VERY little gear early game and NEVER upgraded my gear until i had end game gear). I almost made a B line for things like storage units/bigfoot cores ect after i had cleared out all lvl 1-4 area's. i did not do full clear's for any of the lvl 5-8 areas. I did all the world missions and about 9 (maybe 10/11) challenges. I fully cleared the last area as well (and i only lightly dabbled in fishing and that was early game only). That ended up being a bit more then enough to beat the last boss. Thats all i got for you for tips. But yeah, personally, over all, as i said, i found this game to be decently enjoyable. Not insanely fun, but i enjoyed it enough to beat it where most ppl just got bored/burnt out of it since as i said above, this game is not about skill, its about the grind. If you like this game enough to grind for 67-70 hours, then you will see the end, if you cant see yourself spending 67-70+ hours on it or close to that, then chance's are you wont see the end. Over all, i think this is a decent game to kill time with (even more so since it saves a ton). Thats all i have to say about this game, i bid ye good day.
