I once asked myself this question... Are there any other mobile games that have a Steam page, excluding Geometry Dash? Apparently, there are some. But this one is the only one i found on my region. In this game, you play as a species of dark circle-shaped flying birds named Clony (yes it's the official name of the species) which has to fly through the beginning of the level, and don't let it get away from your view. During your way from start to finish of level, you'll find things that'll make the Clony change size, speed or make copies of itself. Sometimes it may be useful for faster way from start to finish, but sometimes it's not so useful and actually gets you stuck. The visuals and sound design of the game are very good. It's a little fun game to kill your time in. The following port covers only the first BADLAND game, but not the second one. If you even wish to play the sequel on PC, you'll have to get an emulator and play the sequel from it. Overall, a nice port which adds some little features here and there.

BADLAND is a decent game, and it's definitely giving you that chill, casual experience. I played this game in single player, never really touched Co-op but I've seen it can be quite fun. If you want to really give it a go you can try to get all eggs (stars) per level, their requirement can vary from really tough to relatively easy achievements. The concept is simple: you navigate a furry-like creature from the left to the right through a (moving) maze of traps, contraptions and what not, all while trying to stay alive as long as possible - it's a simple concept that will definitely be appealing to a majority of audience. For me though, this is yet another game that I don't find engaging at all, maybe co-op mode is actually a better experience. I feel like levels are all the same after a while, without anything really new going on after few initial playthroughs - move, dodge, get powerup, die, repeat. Having learned that this is actually a mobile game, with this being port, I don't really see reason why they ever made that decision to move to PC. It should've stayed at app level as the port seems rather unnecessary. I can't really say anything wrong with it other than being boring as F - it's simple and engaging concept that can from time to time be an extremely difficult and painful experience. In the artificial world of casual gaming, this one deserves at least 7.5/10

In the scarce landscape of local coop games, which has only recently started to be filled with the likes of It Takes Two and Split Fiction, Badland remains one of the best (or should i say, one of the only) games that a group of friends can enjoy while hanging out.

This game is very fun when playing the main story mode BUT! i have to warn you, You CANNOT create Levels on the pc version and as of 2023 the online servers are dead meaning the level world is gone. you can still see thumbnails but nothing but the game crashes when opening one. but if you ignore the online stuff this game is still very fun to play. The reason for my low play time is due to me mostly playing this game on mobile and i so far have only tested the first few levels and online features.
