It's funny. Very funny. Think getting over it merged with rampant alcoholism, friend griefing, bossfights (2), and some other silly shenaniganry. freeplay mode would be nice. as would some other upgrades. took me and a buddy nearly 4 hours because we spent half of it murdering eachother. good fun. not replayable, and that's okay. worth the 5 dollars i got it on sale for.
Alright, I know I havent played this game as much, but thats because im genuinely confused at what this game is trying to be. To give you a rundown, me and a friend saw this game on instagram, decided to get it because its relatively cheap. My first impressions were pretty good. The driving is fun, the weapons were interesting and its fun to ♥♥♥♥ around with your friends. Then, we hit the first checkpoint, and I wasnt able to continue on. I had to wait until my friend was there. "Okay, maybe it was just a tutorial? after this it must be a race" nope, thats how this game just works. You have a small area you do the challenge in, you then get to the top and have to wait for your friend while you make new cocktails. The next area only opens up when your friend is there. And even then, to keep it fun, you tend to wait until your friend is ready with his cocktails regardless. This game has a whole mechanic about screwing over your friends, but in the very basis its technically a "co-op" game where you both have to reach the same goal anyway? So ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over your friends is funny, but then you are just stuck waiting at the checkpoint until your friend makes it. So you kinda get punished by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over your friend, to then have to wait? The idea I had with this game was that you would do small challenges, and it would be a competition. See who arrives first. See who gets the most points overall. And that the making of drinks would be more like "Do I risk falling behind to make cocktails I can potentially use later to win?" But no, the cocktail making mechanic is at best just a funny addition to what is otherwise a cooperative experience with slight ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around. Do I see this as a bad experience? I guess not, but the marketing led me to believe it was more of a competitive/pvp focused experience than what it actually turned out to be. There is no real racing, there is no real reason to ♥♥♥♥ over your friends besides the "its funny" which tends to get old quickly anyway, and at the end of it all, youre waiting for someone to finally make it to the end anyway even if you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ them over. You should get it if you want a fun-ish game with friends where you have to go through obstacles. But if you expect this to be what I thought it was, id recommend to just skip it
