If you want a Battlefield title with modern setting, THIS IS THE ONE. Battlefield 3 is GOAT and nostalgia but the netcode of that game is terrible. This has everything you need to start your Battlefield journey. Also did i mention that this game wipes the floor with Bf2042 in every way imaginable...

Now that's a classic! Battlefield f***ing 4! The game that withstood the test of time and still plays really well even to this day. The setting, the graphics, the gunplay, the huge variety of vehicles — from land to sea to air — and the destructible environment, which was the key feature of the series, but as time went on, it received less and less attention. By the time Battlefield 6 is released, it's probably going to turn into another three-lane online shooter with little to no destruction. The campaign of Battlefield 4 genuinely provides nothing special. It's just multiplayer maps with NPCs spawned in, but with the dumbest AI possible they just stand still and take shots like champs. So, MULTIPLAYER is where it's all at. The multiplayer is why you play Battlefield 4, and it's one of the greatest online components ever created. It's so innovative for its time, and it still blows my mind today. The sheer chaos that everyone on the map can create gives you the feeling of being in the middle of a battlefield (ba-dum-tss). There's a huge selection of maps, modes, and weapons, all of which are fully customizable. But sadly, this is where my main complaint comes in. While the servers are still full, they’re either American servers, where you'll experience over 200ms of latency, or German servers, where everyone speaks in a language I cannot fathom. But my main complaint about the multiplayer is that EVERYONE JUST PLAYS THE SAME DAMN MAP. COME ON. STOP PLAYING SIEGE OF SHANGHAI. I'M TIRED OF SEEING IT. MY FRIENDS ON TIKTOK SEND ME MEMES. ON DISCORD IT'S F***ING MEMES. I WAS ON A SERVER RIGHT AND ALL OF THE CHANNELS ARE JUST SIEGE OF SHANGHAI. There are literally so many maps, yet this is the only one people play 24/7. Bruuuuh, please give me a break. I'm just tired of playing the same one over and over again. Just for that, I want to give the multiplayer a 0/10, but when you fully immerse yourself, you kind of stop caring. You end up having a really great time with your mates or solo, which is also good. So, to be honest, if you're going to pick it up today, you're still going to have a blast unless EA decides to shut down the servers in a few years, in which case, I'll change the review to negative. Thanks for your time, lol, and have fun in BF4 10/10

One of the best battlefields around when the old Dice cared about multiplayer experiences.. the single player is good not the best but it's there Sadly some servers fake the player count nowdays so you end in server with 0 people the majority of the time and is tiring check one by one using the web browser battlelog webpage to see where the real human players are at and if is with open slots to join. The other problem is punkbuster, the steam files for the game have the old version of this 2 decades old anticheat which causes kicks ez to fix by searching in google: how to update punkbuster but ngl normie users will avoid doing advanced steps just to fix the game.
