i love bears other than that fact, wow. i wishlisted this game because it had 'bear' and 'restaurant' in the same sentence and i love both the animal and that aspect of gameplay but i didn't expect what came after i pressed play. the game is about heaven and hell and everything in between. you learn about how the people you meet dies, and also find yourself wondering why the main character you play is there in the first place. well when i found out i cried so hard. i didn't realise how hard hitting this game would be for me. i got this on sale and i wish i got it full priced. i'd recommend this game if you like an emotional story with a cute pixel art style on the side. gameplay is straight to the point and never once did i question what i was doing. i love bears and i love them even more after this game.
I played another game from this dev back in 2023 (Fishing Paradiso) and I can say for certain that the writers have a really unique writing style. It often doesn't take itself seriously despite the dark themes these games have. Though, it can be a bit cheesy or stereotypical in some areas, I enjoyed it nonetheless!! Also, the art style is P E A K I can see the love that this studio pours in their projects <33 I will FOR SURE be coming back to their other games :]
I was actually thinking this was a cooking game, like "cook together". I was not anticipating the visual novel. This made me laugh, it made my cry, it made me think, it made me want to call my dad and tell him "I love you." There is good, there is bad, there despair, there is hope, there is hate, and there is love. I did not ask to be gut punched in the heart Diego! <3 I am happy I bought this game. I will recommend it to others,
