Best combination of math and "stress-free" Factory Game -- no wrong way to play, since no limits on resources or "hub capacity", and nothing is damaging anything while you're working on another part of the map :-)

I saw this game on YouTube and thought it looked like a lot of fun. Surely I could do better than the guy on the screen. LoL, no! BUT, I'm still having a LOT of fun with it. Before I knew it, 5 hours had passed like it was nothing. I just unlocked the 9's and subtraction and WOW am I hooked. A friendly WARNING to anyone that wants to try it out. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, get curious about the size of the map and go scrolling along. You WILL literally get lost! I spent a solid 10 minutes trying to find my factory center. It was like drifting out into space, hoping you find your way back. To the developer: Can we please have a function or hot key that warps us back to the main hub? I can only imagine when my creation is so massive it takes forever to get back to center. Having a quicker way back would be great! Love the game! Keep up the great work! Edit: Apparently the Hotkey is 'H' The more you know! ^_^

Fun for 3 hours, then it becomes very repetetive. I love the UI, and the game has so much potential, but currently it becomes boring fast. I am thinking (as a side feature) very confined levels where you get numbers coming in, and you need to manipulate them to give you the right output. I would pay good for that.

Overall, I'd recommend it. Beltmatic is a nice minimalist automation game. As of writing this, I have finished all 10 Steam achievements in the game, though of course there are more goals to reach for if you choose to keep going. I can't say there's a ton of variety here, your solutions to each problem will likely end up getting repetitive near the end, but it *is* only $7. I say it's worth that price. Like others, I compare this to Shapez. It's basically a simpler version of that, and plays mostly the same. Buildings are free, resources are infinite, just relax and solve each puzzle as it comes up. A notable difference is that copy-paste is also free in this game, where it is not in Shapez. My one request is to add an undo function, ctrl-z would have been very nice to have here.

A surprisingly good game, if you like math that is. A bit like Sudoku meets Factorio sorta thing. My only complaint is that there is no benefit to overproducing previous numbers. Once a target has been reached, you may as well tear down your assembly lines, as there is zero benefit from keeping them. To me this feels like a missed opportunity.
