Fairly basic, but fun for what it is. Unfortunately Melvor has really defined the standard, and it's been out 5 years now... so it's pretty hard to keep up. But this definitely has potential. Here's some feedback: 1. The XP drops (that then flies over to your level bar XP label) - a toggle setting would be great. I'd be happy just with the little popup. 2. When in a crafting page, it would be nice to see how much of that item you already have 3. Combat - double click to leave should be a toggle (to make it a single click) 4. Multi-select really needs to be implemented ASAP. Double clicking/dragging all items to sell is crazy. I play idle games because I have carpel tunnel, and having to do that demotivates me (EDIT: I did see that you can hover and press "D" to "dump stock". That has actually helped a lot - still needs multi select, but that's definitely a step in the right direction) 5. Why only 50% when offline?... Just put a max afk timer and get rid of the debuff. That just makes me want to have the game open all the time, but there's virtually no reason for that as it's an extremely passive game. (EDIT: I see that you can progress this in the shop. That's good. But still, feels like a classic "it's there to be there". Like artifical padding. Not sure it's a good feeling but I could be wrong. It's the fact that it's a meta-type thing where the best course is to keep my PC on chugging power instead of "open, adjust, afk") 6. It is a shame that most of the art is just a recolor (I am fairly early on, so maybe that's only the case with the first few tiers). I get that it's easy to do, but it would be nice to eventually have some variation (EDIT: I see now that i'm in the blue for weapons, that there are different variations; maybe there was before too) 7. Training blacksmithing is rough... you create items, but since they all are unique, the inventory fills up quickly - which is fine if you wanted it to be more "active", but the selling part... holy. There's no way to mass sell (see #4), and instead you need to hover over them all and press "D" individually. I tried marking as junk, but its only for that exact item (prefixes and suffixes make them different). Overall, this is the kind of game I've always wanted to develop, so I know how much it means to this indie dev. Best of luck!

Good game, similar to Melvor Idle. If you like idlers you will like this. My three main gripes so far (not very far into the game: 1) The main gripe - the game does not follow your inventory management. As an example...If I move "coal" into tab 3.. it will add new coal to the stack until it maxes out that stack at 999. Then new stacks of coal will start in tab 1. It is very irritating as I'm used to being able to easily manage inventory in Melvor but so far this game just keeps throwing everything into tab 1 forever. I hope the devs can do something about that. 2) The combat that I have seen so far is very samy... and you can't grind combat stat? I haven't done much of it so I can edit if this "unlocks" later but there is no combat skill or stat to level that I have seen so far. 3) You can't see if you are a high enough "level" to use an item until after you have crafted it... and a lot of these items require you to use your current item to craft the next level. Want to turn your hardened wood pickaxe into a reinforced wood pickaxe? You have to use it to craft the upgrade.... and then you find out "oh... my mining level is like lvl 30 but my "character" level is still only 5 (they are different) - and you need "character" levels for items so now you have no pickaxes sorry. It's very obnoxious. There should be some information in the blacksmithing screen to show the level requirement of items before you make them. Overall still a fun game - I hope the devs keep polishing it because it's definitely still fun and I'm enjoying the grind so far.

Pretty fun so far! I’m not too far into the game yet, but I’ve been enjoying it. The dev is also really active and has already pushed out 5 patches, which is awesome to see. Looking forward to seeing how the game develops!

Waited 6 hours for the release! Also played the demo for 8 hours day before release and got hooked! Love the Grind and hoping to grind for the long haul. If you like melvor Idle its very similar but got its own feel to it, I love the combat screen with the claimable loot drop inventory. Excited to see how the game further develops as I progress. 9.8/10
