Honestly, this was a really good idle game. I had gotten all the trophies in roughly 210 hours, but I avoided looking up much information. No doubt someone could do better. I do wish there was a bit more diversity in the end game, but honestly it absolutely justifies the price. I had heard the creator isn't planning a second game. That'd be a shame. I'd buy it.
Dragon Cliff is a very enjoyable idle RPG with a surprisingly deep build and equipement system. There are a lot of possibilities when it comes of modifying gear and creating interesting synergies. The game becomes much more demanding once you reach the mystice dimension, and the amount of grinding increase dramatically. 100% steam achievements Time : 185.4H Completion Difficulty : 7/10 Playthroughs : 2 Missables : None Guide Recommended : Yes - for mystic dimension Notable requirements : Main game and NG+, also 1000 levels of Mystic dimension.
I'll preface this with that for the price you can't really go wrong, I got it on sale for 1,99 euro. I think I got about that much enjoyment out of the game. BUT... As a whole, I didn't enjoy Dragon Cliff. It's fine to have on in the background but the problem is that most of the time, your idle progress just isn't meaningful, it won't make you stronger. Sure, you get resources, but you'll mostly be making the same weapons/armors over and over again without making progress. And then there's timed quests, which just sucks in an idle game. There are a lot of unlockables for the patient, and there is a lot of gametime to be spent here especially for the price tag, but this just wasn't what I was looking for. I wouldn't have given it a positive review if I had gotten it at full price (9,99 euro).
