I have a top tier gaming pc and yet this game keeps crashing owo? In general blazblue as a whole fighting game series is solid but this steam pc port maybe failed or I have to nerd it out to find a way to fix this crashing/graphic issue. game and graphics is fairly old, 12 char roster is kind of small when you compare it to the later entries, I'm not a fighting game pro though just casual. *Will update this review as I progress/play* I recommend blazblue calamity trigger the game itself, but do not recommend this steam pc port version for now.
The game that started it all, Calamity Trigger. It is confusing to get 100% on all characters so make sure to use a guide for how to do that. It took me about 21 hours (a few hours are me idling the game so probably around 15 hours is more accurate) to 100% the whole story (Arcade + Story + Miss Litchi Episodes). Just make sure to play a characters Arcade Mode before their Story Mode to fully appreciate the story! I do love this game and think it's worth playing even with the issues I mention below as I didn't find them too troublesome for the purpose of playing through the story. Various issues with the PC port: - No Music in Story Mode Bug: It can be fixed though, check the guide here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/263300/discussions/0/3725071443029929478/ - FPS Issues: You most likely won't get 60FPS to work (there are some workarounds - but nothing that worked for me though): https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/BlazBlue:_Calamity_Trigger#Issues_fixed - Online Play doesn't work: You can patch the game to fix this: https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/3742-blazblue-calamity-trigger-online-restoration
