This probably isn't anything new, and I may just be repeating what we all want already, but with a game this far ahead and simultaneously far behind there really should be some changes and additions to make it stand out amongst a few other VR titles and some additions that make it even more unique cause so far, the space around this beautiful game is dying and that upsets me. First off, Wendigo, he's strong, and just so cool, but he has no face, which is fine, but he's also just a pair of floating hands, the f***'s up with that? games like Blade & Sorcery, Boneworks/lab, have full body models with tilt motion and even physics. Hell- ELECTRONAUTS has a full body model with tilt and tracking and they really didn't need to do that. I see Wendigo as Hank Wimbleton in a sense, dressed in all black, cool ass trench coat, covered up face with some red tinted glasses peaking through, strong as all h***, he should have a model reflective of someone as insane and sadistic as him. Now self-gore I should explain, in BW/L and B&S you can shoot and stab yourself, I think it should be possible in BTVR, makes it even more necessary to avoid accidentally shooting yourself in the cranium, with a full body this can be possible and even make Wendigo ragdoll in a critical state, make him go all limp and fight to gain a second wind. Get shot in the legs? Crawl away to a safe spot, smoke some smack, and you're still standing better than you ever did, get shot in the head? Cut to black, you can do a lot of fun immersive stuff, even make it togglable for ppl who just wanna be a psychopath, I really just want to have a game I can play non-stop and do h****' fun s*** in. NPCs should have some more animations, like going into rigor mortis, seizing, shooting while they're down, maybe they kill themselves to escape the torture they're about to endure, make this a game that needs and extensive 5 year plan of psycho-therapy to help cope with the early onset schizophrenia and PTSD caused by watching the light fade from a "living" being! Lastly, jfc, these NPCs are insanely fast, Usain Bolt can't even catch up to these these a******s, and why is this bad*** contracted serial killer so F***ING SLOW. You can make the argument "It's for aura." wah, wah, bleh bleh, twink rambling, all of it. Let him sprint, make him fast, he is trained to hunt and kill, he should act like it. I want them to run. I also want to catch up to a mf and grab him by the scruff and look deep into his soul, just SMELL lil' bros fear right before I blow his shi smooth tf off. Now. I know this dev team is probably just one guy, but after 2019 and a mass following of talented people dying to make this a better game, expand. Warp Frog made the most successful VR magic and sword fighting game of all time with less than 15 people, imagine a game with the foundation already built with 10 people behind it. Hell If I knew s*** about game development, I'd hop in the studio and work for free to see this game get out of development h***. Make Blood Trail great. (I also forgot to mention how having a full body also opens up possibilities to add other modes pf melee combat like, elbows, knees (body tracking is already in the files, c’mon now.) and headbutting which Boneworks/labs has and it’s sick. Even Drunkn Bar Fight 2 developers are taking this suggestion and are working on making it happen.)
