I smashed the mouse button for (i lost track of time) minutes to get the fart achievement. (Restart the game a couple of times if there are bugs getting them.) After playing through this gruesome fever dream, I needed some time to process... But heating up probably soggy cereal in the microwave is vile.

Short horror surreal walking simulator with a disturbing story. The game takes around 45 minutes for a playthrough, and then another 20 minutes if you want to 100% all the achievements. + The atmosphere is well done, the small world is well made and I felt as if I was inside of it. + I love watching retro cartoons and movies while in games. + Several disturbing surreal moments in the last 20 minutes of the game. + You can drink beer, find a whoopie cushion, and squeeze it to fart. Always a plus. + The game is priced right. - The game doesn't really do any service to the weight of the serious subject matter at hand. - Game could be longer, more choices, different directions and outcomes in gameplay. Great atmosphere but a bit empty and rushed. Overall 7 / 10

A very grim and real take on alcoholism and abuse, definitely life ruining as the disclaimer said! The game does a great job at putting you in the middle of a very unsettling story and creepy atmosphere. The reveals of the abuse build up in small increments making you figure the story out for yourself by putting everything together and reading between the lines of some dialogue until the game just throws you into the full realisation of what really is happening. I really loved the small easter egg to the game "No, I'm not a Human" with the peephole man! Really enjoyed achievement hunting for this game :}
