I came across this game by accident, while scrolling through the seemingly new to me "FMV" category. I was looking at titles like "Command and Conquer" and "Dragons Layer," when I found this title. From the second I watched the really well done trailer, I wrestled back and forth with whether to purchase the game. I ultimately decided to give it a try as the displays of martial arts combat, use of magic, and beautiful cinematography all spoke to things that I like/choose when watching movies. The bonus though for me was that unlike movies where I could merely sit back and watch the story play out as dictated by the already decided upon script, I was able to make impactful choices and navigate the story in the manner as I saw fit. Now, for those who are not new to "FMV" or "RPG" titles, the ability to make choices to guide and immerse yourself in the story is the biggest reason to play the game in the first place. What I didn't realize however, was that unlike most RPG's I have played I have never experienced playing a game that was developed in the manner that this title was, where real actors/actresses were cast in a modern setting. This made my experience all the more enjoyable and easy to buy into the story. I found the dialogue to be fairly well written, the acting to be surprisingly good, the special affects and fight scene choreography to be really well done. I went into this experience expecting there to be some issues with the subtitles not being translated accurately, and came away pleasantly surprised that I was able to follow along with the story with little to no issues at all. Overall, I really enjoyed this game and first time foray into the world of "FMV" (If you don't count my playing Dragons Layer and Command and Conquer), and would recommend it to anyone who gravitates to "RPG" stylized games or who just has a love of fantasy!

Nice live action game. But there are a few kinks that need to be iron out. First, would be the English subtitles, next would be reading messages. The translation for the messages is horrendous. Third, there's quite a few holes in between the storyline. Other than that, it's a fun little live action game.

There are so many grammar issues. There are some things that are not even translated (like 2D scenes or the book given to study the manifestation. I had to use Google Lens and Google to figure out which one it was without needed to pick them all and reloading). Nevertheless, it has a very elaborate and intricate story flow. For this kind of game, it has nice effects and the amount of endings are really neat. I teared heavily with the 1st ending I got (which is my canon ending), then I started hunting for other ones. But above all, it has Wu Jin <3

Very solid & interesting story. The issues that are present in the game are simple typos (ie gourp instead of group), missing words in sentences & occasionally the subtitle doesn't pop-up at all.

I will say this: This is the only dating sim I've played where there are real consequences to picking one waifu over another. Doing so will put you in direct conflict in the story with the ladies you didn't pick. No cop-out choices. For that, I give the game props for making that bold narrative choice.
