A lot of VNs have branching paths, but this game really is in the top tier of the genre. Rarely are the branches so very diverse as in this game. The dev team really put in the work to make the choices more than just a slight scene change. I'd recommend this for anyone who is a fan of the genre. So many layers to peel back to get the true endings and the strong writing make this a must own at it's current price.

Not too shabby. I expected a circumcised version of game of fate for 5 bucks but it's as good if not better. It even has the card system. No wonder the publisher hiked up the price. The story has everything you can imagine - romance, spying, murder mystery, cults and all that jazz. I only have a few complaints. If you thought the phone machanic in similar FMVs was annoying, add emails to it. There are some scenes that can't be skipped even though you've already seen them, someone messed up the segmentation. The mini-games are more of a nuisance than a fun feature. And that's all I can think of, maybe the pacing in certain parts could've been faster.

Well executed with really good filming and good acting. Plot gets unnecessarily complicated as writer tried to get away from the typical story flow. Whoever decided to add the different card games can eat s*it.

After playing game of fate 1 and 2 from the same producer, which I thought were good games, I consider this one to be a lot better. It keeps the same core mechanics but then also adds a karma counter, which you need to balance with money, a card game that was quite engaging, some evil choices that don't lead to a bad ending, and then a continuous sense of mystery / crime solving atmosphere. I thought the acting is decent with a nice range of characters. Ultimately it leads to some weird supernatural stuff, which may perhaps seem too confusing for some, also in combination with the many story branches. My issue, as with previous game of fate games, is that discovering all scenes is too bothersome (and also not quite even worth it sometimes). It's also a drag to get to every ending in the final chapter, which you need to discover the final truth. Nevertheless I found it very rewarding to play through many story branches. Considering also the low price, I think this one is a must have for every fan of the genre. I would recommend also 'exclusive memory', if you like the combination of romance with crime investigation.
