Purchased for 2.50 euro during steam sale. Would say it is probably worth it even at 5 monies. Very solid bullet hell/heaven game that isn’t overly complex or convoluted. This would be an excellent first entry to the genre if you've never played IMO. One of the few that goes out of its way to explain how EVERYTHING works from the get go; a rarity in this genre from my experience. It is obvious when leveling which skills benefit from modifiers. 15.5 hours and I'm pretty much done with single player; missing a few achievements; mostly from co-op. 5 levels and each has 3 difficulties. Decent variety in character choice and skills/abilities. Fair progression in strength of armor sets that actually help but don’t make you too OP; exterminating everything on screen with little/no effort can still be at the mercy of RNGeezus. Art style gets 2 thumbs way up for me. Performance in single player, 4K, capped at 120 fps is smooth as butter even when things get hectic. R7 7700, RX 9070, 32GB 6000CL36, Samsung 970 EVO+ SSDs, CachyOS. Story is kinda weak, but you can’t get it all at this price point. Not really an end game, but for what I paid I am more than content. Some other reviews say it has been abandoned, which is a shame as it has much potential. No commentary on co-op as I have yet to try.

We played a 3-player multiplayer game today. One player had maxed out all the lasers, which made the game extremely laggy and prevented us from doing anything during map selection. One player even got kicked from the game. I could still see what I had selected, but I couldn't change my choice because the game was unresponsive. Spamming the A button allowed us to continue playing, but after defeating the final boss, my city wouldn't load, and the game could only be closed using the key manager. The game desperately needs a stability update. I don't understand the "End of the Program" achievement. I played a run and had the Rift ability. The boss was standing right in the middle of the ability/lava, and when he died, I didn't get the achievement. Also, I don't understand the "In Space, They Will Hear You Scream After All" achievement. I destroyed a lot of eggs that looked like stones before the enemies could hatch, and so far I haven't received this achievement.

While it is a lil rough around the edges, the coop is a blast, and the progression with legendary weapons keeps things interesting Went in expecting less, and was pleasantly surprised!

I don't know why people give this a thumbs down after saying good things about this. $5, had some fun. I think it is worth the bang for your buck as a casual game to have some fun with friends or solo when wanting to get away from the modern gaming sweat. Definitely would buy again.
