REVIEW EDIT AFTER HOTFIX 2 & DAY 2 OF GAMEPLAY 6/11/26 Pros: - The tasks are MUCH more manageable after the 2nd hotfix. The game feels a lot more playable. All hail King or Queen Fobri <3 Cons: - You can lose your house progress if you update your gnome hut & then quit the game until your next play. - The old man saw me ONCE & grabbed his pistol/handgun which made the rest of that day a lot more difficult, as he snuck up behind me 2 seconds after entering the house lol. - The game currently does not support controllers, it only supports keyboards. - It's not very apparent how to blend something in the blender. The same can be said regarding gaining access to the greenhouse, even after the key has been found. Is it the same as entering the shed? INITIAL RELEASE DAY REVIEW: My husband & I have 80-100 hours combined in the demo, we absolutely love the demo & have been eagerly waiting for the release of the full game. We've spent 1-2 hours in the full game & while we love the game, there are some things that I would like to address via pros and cons. Pros: - The game is challenging. The tasks are a lot more creative than the tasks in the demo. They're less repetitive as well. - There are different environments that the house is in; suburbs, a farm/forest & on a cliffside type location. - There is a HUGE expansion of tools in the game; glue gloves, grappling hook, glider, slingshot, etc. Honorable mention for the helmet, much love to Fobri for the helmet option. - The material costs for different items appears to be reduced/less expensive. - This is a PHENOMENAL game for the price. It was priced very competitively & is a huge steal for the quality of the game. Cons: - The game is challenging. This game is lot more involved than the demo. - The old man in the game is VERY fast & a lot harder to evade. He patrols a lot more often. He was able to reach through a box I was hiding behind to grab me. - The tasks are unattainable at times; one task we had today was to get 7 items from the hallway. There weren't enough items in the hallway to complete the task. - Depending on the difficulty of the task, there isn't always enough time to complete at least 3 tasks. - The grappling hook is hard to control. It drops you when you get close to the wall when you're swinging. - While my husband and I were playing the game, the old man was hunting me. Once I lost line of sight, he immediately left the room & went into the room my husband was hiding in to patrol. He didn't go back to the couch, bathroom or bedroom like he did in the demo. - I was playing the tutorial & got stuck behind the hedges that line the house. The tutorial barriers had me trapped behind the hedge. I was able to unstuck myself, but it does seem to be an issue. - I experienced a random death just walking around in the beach house. Overall, this is a GREAT game. I do think it would be a lot more enjoyable if the old man didn't patrol as often as he did (it feels excessive) & if he moved a little bit slower. This game is such a unique game & we love it so much. Thank you Fobri!!!

Soooo it's an amazing game and I love it, but if I upgrade my house with my fraggles and clonk, etc. my house should STAY upgraded on death. Take the rest of my inventory and the items on my gnome body, but my HOUSE? That's just mean and honestly makes the game feel not worth it. I'm fine gathering the resources again to make my items, but having to re-upgrade my house, re-make my items, it's just not worth it. If it's in the house it should stay on death, that includes furniture that was crafted. It takes a fun game to play with my friends and turns it into a grind that is NOT REWARDING to do. Upgrades for the house should stay and if it's not in inventory space it should stay. Period.

My friend told me to buy this game. He didn't mention the naked old man chasing a gnome, but I'm not complaining

Finally... after 30 hours with the demo, I’m ready to experience the full product. Yes, you read that right — 30 hours in the demo alone. Was it boring? Not for a second. Funny? Absolutely hilarious. Will you enjoy robbing a poor old man and stealing the last pair of underwear from his already half-empty house? Without a doubt. Think it’s going to be easy and dull? Well, a naked old man with a gun is more than ready to prove you wrong.
