While it seems similar to others of it's style - Repo, Lethal Company etc - it does so many little things that elevate it to the game that has hooked our discord. So many items, features, or behaviors you question at first and then realize the role they play to add up to making this game something really special. When you have co-op mechanics that don't only encourage you playing together, but actually putting yourself in danger or dying for your team - so they can get that perfect picture? So good. This would be our discord's game of the year by far.
last update after 100% : It took me about a week of looking for random 8 player teams to find 2 teams that were good and fun. With them it was really fun and rather easy to 100%. It did feel a little silly that piles of bodies and blood and some Michael Bay explosions was worth more $ than a UFO and weird creatures fighting the Army but eh, the masses are dumb. If you have a bunch of friends and like laughing at stupid ♥♥♥♥ and dont mind some jank you may enjoy this a lot. Have fun. -------------------- 50/50 Review, on the positive side ONLY if you play with 1+ FRIENDS or good randoms. I do NOT recommend this game solo. -------------------- I dont find it much fun solo ... its much more fun with at least 1 friend, and with a bunch of friends or good randoms its lots of fun for 10+ hours. Sadly random teams are not a reliable experience. To few English speakers, to few full teams, and to few ok players. And a sessions latency is pretty bad with some players from certain regions with no region filter. I've seen the same random 'server' listed in both the "Near" and "Far'" server choices. Also looking for players on the Steam Forum is dead, and the same on the "official" game Discord. I dont see The Headliners holding my attention much longer with random games mainly being a disapointment most of the time.
