It's buggy. It's also one of the funnest things I've played with my group in months. It's Early Access, that's the deal you're signing up for, I don't recall any EA launches without bugs

Didn't expect to like this as much tbh The stretchy arms are such a stupid but good mechanic lmao. Being able to grab loot, throw stuff and basically bully your friends makes the whole thing way more entertaining. And once a monster appears everything immediately becomes a mess. Would like the monster behavior/balance to be improved tho, sometimes it feels more frustrating than scary. But the core loop is fun and the pirate theme + all the little stuff like the shop with cards give it some personality. Good stuff so far, I recommend giving it a try 🏴‍☠️

It lacks some major progression arc, I feel that's the thing which would add at least few extra hours to my playtime. It just doesn't provide that feeling of getting better with each run, every chapter you start with nothing, over and over again

had weird desyncs few times but we were laughing the whole time so who cares. it's EA, it'll get patched (right?). hope so at least, cause we genuinely had some fun

Booty slaps. Edit: sad to see negative reviews complaining about bugs in early access. Don't buy a game in early access expecting it to be flawless. None of the bugs I've come across are anything game breaking. Some items getting stuck for a bit or clipping through stuff, and some controls like flipping the cart or cauldron could definitely improve, but I had a ton of fun! If you like silly pirate games, this is a lot of fun. Game could also use some better explanations of what stuff does, but I don't mind to ♥♥♥♥ around and find out :)
