There are 5 romanceable characters, each with their own distinct personality, backstory, and motivation. Fully voice acted with more adjustable voice options in settings and a significant amount of CGs, this game is already well worth playing. Something to note however, is that the story doesn’t end when your romance route does! Only by completing every route, can you read the other half of the novel; every route focuses on a separate part of the storyline and relates to that character’s background, and it’s worth playing through them all to tie up the loose ends and understand the full story. So far I’ve completed Mozu and Limbo’s routes. I actually really enjoy this game! I got it on sale for $2 and wow, what a steal. Firstly, The character you play as has a unique personality of her own and I think that’s wonderful. It’s not often that you see dating sims where the MC is so full of personality, so I find that very refreshing. It does make it a little bit more difficult to truly immerse yourself in the story in the romance, which I personally don’t mind but some might. All of the love interests are incredibly well thought out characters. Even the side characters like Luka, Adam, Carmen, etc., all have their own backgrounds and their own quirks. You can tell a lot of thought was put into each and every character, which makes the play-through much more enjoyable. The art is lovely, but even more than that, the voice acting is superb! Despite the sparse player choices throughout the dialogue, I was constantly tuned in and was able to enjoy the story because of the voice acting. It felt so real and was just entertaining. My only real complaint is regarding the translation. While it was very well done and easy to understand, there were several points where there were noticeable typos and grammatical errors; which can be expected, it just made some of the dialogue a bit more difficult to understand. Additionally, there’s moments between scene-changes where there’s voicing that isn’t accompanied by written dialogue, so unless you understand Japanese, you’re kind of left in the dark. But all of that aside, I am really enjoying the story and playing through the different routes. I can’t wait to continue my play-through! I’m enjoying this game much more than I anticipated I would lol

WORST FUCKING THING TO HAPPEN TO ME BY THE END OF THE YEAR. I CAN'T GET SHU OUT OF MY HEAD AND HE'S MESSING WITH ME GODDD 10/10 Character interactions and dialogues. Absolutely love the story. 100% the game in two weeks and can say that it has completely consumed me now. Truly terrible game. Will replay Shu's route again because I miss him already.

Finished Scarecrow and Helvetica routes so far. The writing for the common route is excellent. Funny, interesting, and the plot is well-paced. Romance bits are kinda mid. I can't really buy into why the heroine and the love interests fell in love with each other. I'd say this game is worth playing for the story as a visual novel but not if otome/romance is important to you. Overall the translation is impressively good! One odd detail is that the small bits of dialogue that sometimes happen in between chapters is not subtitled, so unless you understand Japanese, you may not follow. Also it took me ages to figure out the keyboard shortcuts, but once I did, it was okay. The base volume for character voices varies every chapter but you can just manually adjust it by character from chapter to chapter. I like that the heroine has a support system outside of the LIs, in her childhood friends. The childhood friends are intelligent, competent, empathetic and charming. They have their own ambitions and principles in life that aren't directly tied to the heroine. A lot more fleshed out that I would normally expect from non-romanceable side characters in an otome game. Definitely one of the best game purchases I've made this year.

I love the story. Unique from other stories I have played. I don't think there was that much romance. So, if you prefer something less romantic and more dramatic, this would probably suit your tastes. I mean there's flirting, but the mystery aspect takes center stage. I felt like the epilogues matched the characters, decently. I think this is one of the best looking VN I have read. And, the voice acting was amazing. The controls were different, but easy enough to figure out.
