There are 5 romanceable characters, each with their own distinct personality, backstory, and motivation. Fully voice acted with more adjustable voice options in settings and a significant amount of CGs, this game is already well worth playing. Something to note however, is that the story doesn’t end when your romance route does! Only by completing every route, can you read the other half of the novel; every route focuses on a separate part of the storyline and relates to that character’s background, and it’s worth playing through them all to tie up the loose ends and understand the full story. So far I’ve completed Mozu and Limbo’s routes. I actually really enjoy this game! I got it on sale for $2 and wow, what a steal. Firstly, The character you play as has a unique personality of her own and I think that’s wonderful. It’s not often that you see dating sims where the MC is so full of personality, so I find that very refreshing. It does make it a little bit more difficult to truly immerse yourself in the story in the romance, which I personally don’t mind but some might. All of the love interests are incredibly well thought out characters. Even the side characters like Luka, Adam, Carmen, etc., all have their own backgrounds and their own quirks. You can tell a lot of thought was put into each and every character, which makes the play-through much more enjoyable. The art is lovely, but even more than that, the voice acting is superb! Despite the sparse player choices throughout the dialogue, I was constantly tuned in and was able to enjoy the story because of the voice acting. It felt so real and was just entertaining. My only real complaint is regarding the translation. While it was very well done and easy to understand, there were several points where there were noticeable typos and grammatical errors; which can be expected, it just made some of the dialogue a bit more difficult to understand. Additionally, there’s moments between scene-changes where there’s voicing that isn’t accompanied by written dialogue, so unless you understand Japanese, you’re kind of left in the dark. But all of that aside, I am really enjoying the story and playing through the different routes. I can’t wait to continue my play-through! I’m enjoying this game much more than I anticipated I would lol

I love the story. Unique from other stories I have played. I don't think there was that much romance. So, if you prefer something less romantic and more dramatic, this would probably suit your tastes. I mean there's flirting, but the mystery aspect takes center stage. I felt like the epilogues matched the characters, decently. I think this is one of the best looking VN I have read. And, the voice acting was amazing. The controls were different, but easy enough to figure out.

imo mc is wildly childish for the situations and the career she's in, but she is definitely less of a self insert (unlike most visual novels) which i really dig. for how much game time and fun i had, which I am just 15% of the story in btw , definitely WORTH the price. personally , i'll definitely try to 100% the game soon, fucking love the characters in here, 11/10 personalities.

This otome game was such a pleasure to play. All the characters were drawn so beautifully! The backgrounds were really detailled and the music switched with the mood, location and ending. Also, I LOVE the fact that they included a music player where you can listen to all the songs once more. The (side) characters were interesting, everyone had their own personality as well as flaws and backstory and nothing was at all shallow or repetitive. You could select the chapters to play so you don't have to go through the prologue every time and there is a skip button which I have grown to appreciate very much, since it either stops at new text/dialogue or the next decision. All the characters really grew on me and, though I loved reading the stories, I have to say they were a bit short, in my opinion. I would’ve loved for them to be a bit longer. But saving Shu for last was a good decision - I enjoyed his route the most. He’s absolute best boy and ilhsm! I also love all the “easter eggs” and that every story and route was well written and, albeit a romance, was also very tragic in one way or another and there was lots of suspense in every route. What I did dislike though were the weird controls. Like, why? I literally had to research to find out how to adjust the settings and exit the game. So if you are currently playing or considering playing, here's what you need to know: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2568023044 If you don't have a "home" button, by the way, try pos1. Also, the game is fully voiced, which is amazing! If you pick the default name for the heroine, they even call her by her name! What bothered me though was that they subbed everything except for the two post-epilogue videos and the start of every chapter, as well as sometimes even the very end of a chapter/scene and previews for the next episodes. I really don’t understand why they chose to stop translating, but it was bothering me so I looked up the translation for the marked spoiler online to get a gist of what was being said. Lastly, I have to admit I really didn’t enjoy the two epilogue stories. “Full Circle” was fine, though I found it weird that suddenly everyone was involved in the Ruy Lopez Organisation, but “Auld Lang Syne” just ruined the story for me. They really just had to go and make Zora an absolute asshole, ruin Professor Sauli for me and this time really, actually rob Helvetica of his last parent, have this insanely cruel thing happen to Luka and then give Adam a tumor and have him leave just like that… Instead, they could’ve given us an alternative route where Adam actually confessed and was a romanceable character - I would’ve loved that. But all in all I really enjoyed playing this game and am absolutely STOKED for season 2 in 2025. 8.5/10 *hums The Yellow Rose of Texas*
