This is far from a perfect game. Made by a relatively small studio it has plenty of "clunk." The bad: You cant rotate the camera view (this drives me insane in modern games). The jump queue is obnoxious. There are times where it is very difficult to make out your character from the background. The gameplay modes are basically, extra easy, easy, and normalish but easy. The inventory menu is unruly and shoots you off to the side into equipment details. Please let us just read the notes be pick up when we pick them up. Bow aiming is underdeveloped. The white lines whisping around everywhere are annoying and you dont have an option to turn them off. The blood gushing out of enemies into eternity is obnoxious. The good: Despite its faults this game is a click above playable so the above issues are bearable. It makes up for this with its uniqueness, something between a dungeon crawler and rpg in gameplay. The story and atmosphere are fantastic enchanting and humorous. If you are interested in Russian/Slavic lore this game is 100% for you. All together this game is a breath of fresh air and I am really enjoying it.

I’m not exactly a connoisseur of Slavic culture, but I’m really enjoying the game. It feels packed with all kinds of memes inspired by Slavic mythology, which I find pretty hilarious. And honestly, the ability to pee on a tree and then hug it right after? That’s peak gameplay right there.

Been enjoying the game quite a bit. The atmosphere is really nice and has this mystical, fairy-tale kind of feel. I also liked the Slavic folklore inspiration since it makes the world feel a lot more interesting and different from the usual fantasy stuff. The art and music fit the vibe really well too. Overall, it just feels charming and full of character. Will definitely play more, so far the start is promising.

This is exactly what I needed! A folk-punk adventure with strong Slavic vibes, decent combat, interesting stories and an atmosphere of a brutal fairytale. I want to highlight the music - it is powerful and I've already added it to my playlist! Definitely recommended to anyone looking for a new adventure in a world of old tales.

I can describe this game as unique, sometimes creepy, sometimes wholesome. Visually it looks good, slavic theme is everywhere you look, combat is good, you gotta move, plan your next target. Especially if you don't play on peasant difficulty. Have I told you this game is sometimes creepy? In cinematics devs went completely off the rails and there was noone to stop them. You can see some parallels with Witcher universe, but in its own style. Overall - I like gameplay, performance is good, Slavic lore - that's more up to you if you're into this sort of thing.
