I absolutely love everything about this game. The story, the character design, the writing, the combat, the humor, I am about 7 hours in. I am so hooked and could see myself replaying Bylina. There are so many wonderful things I could boast about the glory of the Bogatyr and this incredible journey. Here is the problem though keeping Bylina from being a 5 out of 5 star. IT WILL NOT STOP CRASHING. It does not matter what setting changes I make or what I do. I am in Alaborg right now its crashing all the freaking time. It is just so sad man. I am on the Eastern Pier, trying to clear ravine for a quest, it crashes every time I get close to a bridge of Alaborg citzens cheering me on as I defeat the foes...CRASH. Turn a corner in Alaborg, CRASH. Talk to someone in Alaborg, CRASH. Walk through the woods, CRASH. Since, I have got to Alaborg, start up the freaking game, CRASH. I absolutely adore this game and highly recommend it. Although, I hope the DEVS fix this because it is ridiculous and unacceptable for something you want people to be able to play and love because of all the hard work you put into it. They also just released a patch update about performance issues...you guessed it..IN ALABORG! The patch ain't patching my dudes, please fix this so I can edit my review and continue my quest, play the game, and give this game the 5 out of 5 Bogatyr Brews it rightfully deserves, cheers.
Great voice acting, well-written dialogue; overall, the battle areas aren’t exactly spacious, but you get used to it. There are different combat styles depending on the weapon, and equipment provides bonuses. If the game is too easy, you can switch to hard mode, but it doesn’t really work during boss fights, since they don’t take much damage and their HP isn’t that high—but it does work during fights with regular monsters.
