Basically a lite version of Happy Humble Burger Factory, but with cakes! The characters look fine to me and the gameplay is fun for story mode. However 100%'ing this game is a dousie, other than that, nice game. ^^ Not hard to 100% it, just hella long if you're impatient like me.

For Potential Players: Cakey’s Twisted Bakery is absolutely worth the cost. The game is simple simple mechanics, simple enemies, and a simple storyline that you could easily overlook if you’re not paying attention. But none of that is a bad thing. It took me about 80 hours to beat the main game, and my wife loved watching me play through it. The AI is very basic, which makes it easy to “play smart” and beat the game without feeling much tension (I played on Normal mode, so maybe higher difficulties change that). To really enjoy this game, you need to take risks. that’s where the fun comes in. I only got caught once, and that moment ended up being one of the best memories of the playthrough. You won’t get the full experience unless you put yourself in danger now and then. From a Game Dev’s Perspective: As someone who’s worked on a few indie projects and is currently prepping a steam release, I have to say the art direction is solid. Everything fits the aesthetic, and nothing felt out of place. If I had to critique something visually, it would be the map design. It’s not bad at all, but a bit more challenge or something like a stamina/sprint bar could have made escaping enemies more engaging. Where the game could really improve is in atmosphere and enemy AI. The atmosphere could use more punch; ambient sounds, environmental VFX, maybe a subtle retro shader to give it more mood. Each room could have had its own sound personality: a steady hum, a random noise like a pressure valve releasing. something to build tension and also occasionally mask enemy sounds to create genuine scares. As for the enemies, their behavior patterns were predictable. Most followed a basic loop: patrol → idle → chase → lose sight → return to patrol. Adding variety and stacking behaviors as the game progresses would’ve made encounters far more dynamic. For example: Enemy 1: Reacts to noises (baking, ingredient grabbing, footsteps too close). Enemy 2: Blind but with sharp hearing; hunts you by sound. Enemy 3: Deaf but with heightened vision; makes you play more carefully around light and line-of-sight. Those small changes would’ve made the AI feel more alive and the tension more organic. Final Thoughts: Despite its simplicity, Cakey’s Twisted Bakery is a memorable experience, especially if you like experimenting with risk and strategy. It’s a fun, quirky horror game that rewards curiosity and boldness — and with a few tweaks to atmosphere and AI, it could easily become something truly special.

This game took a second to grasp but once you get it, it's a lot of fun. I especially enjoyed the level design and the environmental art. It is a beautiful game. Great work devs.
